25. a. Getting Ready For Baby

His POV

Over the last few days Y/ N and I have been busy getting ready for our baby boy Reuben who will be here in a few weeks. We are really excited to meet him but also a little nervous about the whole parenthood thing. We hope we will be good parents to our little boy. Y/ N has decided that she wants a water birth at the hospital and that she doesn't want to breastfeed. She said she doesn't like the idea of it so Reuben will be formula fed so I can do that too. That's totally up to her anyway. Can't wait till our boy is here though. Y/ N and I are at home now chilling and sitting on the couch. We were busy earlier sorting things out in the nursery for Reuben. "I'm tired, Markie" Y/ N yawns. "I know. You will be, baby. It's hard working being pregnant and sorting things out for the baby" I reply. "Yeah I feel like we've forgotten things. It's bugging me. I need to go and check. "I'm sure everything is okay, sweetheart. I can go and check if you want" I say. "Okay sure" Y/ N smiles. I go into the nursery and look through everything just to clear Y/ N's mind. I come back and everything was fine. "We got everything. You didn't need to worry. I know there's a lot on your mind, jagiya" I said. "Yeah there is. Thank you, Markie" she smiles. "No problem, baby cakes" I smile sitting next to Y/ N on the couch and kissing her. "Blame it on pregnancy brain" she laughs. "Yes it's fine" I say. "Love you. Reuben has the best daddy in the world" she said. "Awwww and he has the best mommy in the world too" I reply. Y/ N is okay now after panicking a little. We got everything anyway

Jaehyun 💜

I am 3 weeks off my due date and me and Jaehyun have been busy getting the nursery and everything ready that we need for the hospital. Yes I am having a hospital birth as it's the best for me and the baby. We are so excited to find out if our baby is a boy or a girl. We don't mind just as long as they are healthy and happy. Anyway we are in the nursery now sorting out and organising all the baby's clothes in the closet and drawers. We haven't got an awful amount of clothes for the baby. Just a few general neutral newborn things like onesies and sleep suits. When the baby is born we will obviously get more things when we know they are a boy or a girl. I'm sure our friends and family will be buying us things when the little one is here. I'm passing the clothes to Jaehyun and he's hanging them up in the closet. Like I said we don't have a lot of clothes yet. "Are you okay bending down, jagiya?" Jaehyun said. "Yes I'm fine. Don't worry, Hyun" I reply. "Okay, love" he replies. When we got all the closet away in the closet, we moved to he drawers to put way things like blankets, muslin clothes, pacifiers etc. We have some really cute fluffy blankets for the baby. "Awwww I love these blankets" I say. "Me too so cute and fluffy. This one has an adorable lamb on" Jaehyun said. I smile. When we've done all that, we move onto the hospital bag. My midwife has given me a checklist of what to include in my hospital bag. First we choose an outfit for the baby. A cute onesie with matching pants and a jacket. They are going to look cute in that. Next I get some clothes for me. Some comfortable things. Birth plan and notes, breast pads, sanitary pads, diapers for the baby and lots more things for me and the baby. There is a lot of things but I think we got everything we need

Taeyong 💙

Me and Taeyong are popping out to the store to get a new last minute baby things for our baby son Taeho who will be here in a few weeks. I'm 37 weeks pregnant now so he could be here so very soon. We realise we need some more diapers, wipes, breast pads for me; I forgot those. We need to get some bottles as well for night feeds and formula in case we decide to do that as well and if Taeyong wants to feed him too. We could always pick up some more clothes while we are there too. You always need clothes when you have a new baby. Taeyong and I are in the car now on our way to the store to pick up the baby things. "Can't wait to get some more things for our boy, babe" he said. "Yes me too. We have arrived now" I reply. We park up and get out of the car and walk in and grab a cart. "I have a list" I say. "Cool" Taeyong replies. I tell him what we need and he picks it from the shelf and puts it in the cart. We got all the essentials that we came for then we looked at baby clothes. Taeyong said we don't need any more newborn clothes but I said there is no harm in looking. "We could do with some more onesies you know we could get through several a day" I say. "Okay of you want" Taeyong said. He seemed a bit miserable and bored. "Come on cheer up, Yong. We are having a baby soon" I say. "Yeah sorry, babe. I'm a little tired and I also don't think we need extra clothes. We've got enough" he said. "Okay well we are getting them" I say. Anyway Taeyong cheered up and agreed with me when we got one. We stocked up on the essential baby things we needed and a few extra clothes I saw. Think we are almost ready for baby Taeho

Jungwoo ❤️

My mom is over at our place helping us get ready for the twins. The babies could be here in the next couple of weeks if I am induced or have a c section. Don't what is going to happen. Hopefully I will have a natural labor. My mom is over to help us with some things today. An extra pair of hands makes quicker work. We have just washed and ironed all the twins clothes now and we are putting them away in closets and drawers in the nursery. Since we don't know the genders of the twins, all the clothes we have a gender neutral clothes. We will get more clothes when they are here. Jungwoo and I are sorting things out in the closet with help from my mom. Don't think we will be able to do it without her. We have a good system going between us all. "This is so much fun" Jungwoo said. "Yes it is. So much fun" I reply. "I'm so glad I could be here today to help you two parents to be" my mom said. "Thank you, Eomma" I reply. We carry on putting things away in the closet till it was done then it was time for the drawers. I the drawers we put bibs, blankets, muslin cloths, socks, mittens etc for the twins. Since we are having twins we obviously have twice as many things. It didn't seem too bad once we did it all. My mom helped me organise the hospital bags. I need a lot of things as I don't know how long I'll be in hospital for when the babies are born. My mom knew what I should take. Jungwoo helped us too. We had a good day in organising the babies things

Donghyuck 💚

I am 4 weeks from my due date now so baby Miyoung will be here soon. Donghyuck and I have spent a lot of time in the nursery getting things ready for her. I am of course having a hospital birth as it's the best and safest option for me and the baby. Can't wait until Miyoung is born. Eunsang has been good while we've been getting things ready. He will feel it when his baby sister is here. We are giving him as much attention as we can now so he doesn't feel left out. Donghyuck will be mostly with Eunsang while I'm with Miyoung when she's here. I think we've done nearly everything we can for now. Donghyuck and I are tired from all the hard work especially me of course. "That was fun, babe now time to spend sometime with this little dude" Donghyuck said. "Yes absolutely. Come on, Eunsang. You must have been bored" I say. He picks up Eunsang and takes him into the lounge and we sit on the couch with him. "Some productive things. Eh" I say. "Yes I know but I missed spending father, son time with this boy" Donghyuck says. "I know. You two can spend as much time as you want. Me and Miyoung can have girl time" I reply. "Oh yes you can. She's gonna be so beautiful just like you, Y/ N. You know" he said. I smile. Eunsang sits on Donghyuck's lap and he cuddles and gives him raspberries for a bit. We had fun sorting out things for the baby. We just can't wait till little Miyoung is here and we are a family of four
