32. Labor/ Delivery- Doyoung 🧡

I am 39 weeks now and I'm still on bed rest. Bed rest is boring but at least I have Doyoung by my side to keep me company. I hate not being able to move and do anything. Well I can move and go into the bathroom of course but just I can't do a lot. Doyoung has to do literally everything for me. He doesn't mind and he doesn't complain one bit. Awww I have he best husband in the world. We just can't wait till our baby boy is here. It could be anytime soon. Hopefully not too long now. There is a possibility I might need a c section. I am resting in bed now. That's like all my life consists of now. Doyoung comes in to make sure I'm okay regularly. "Hi, how are you doing, sweetie?" He asked. "I'm alright. As okay as I can be" I reply. "Awww" he said getting on the bed next to me. "Baby, DoDo" I say. "Awwww, baby and our baby boy" he said. Doyoung lays with me for a while. "I think I need the bathroom I'm going to pee myself" I say. "Okay, sweetie. Don't rush. You might fall" he said. Doyoung helps me to the bathroom and I go for a pee before I pee myself. As I was on the toilet I started to feel a little uneasy. Think that might be a contraction. I'm pretty sure it is. "Doyoung, I think I just had a contraction" I said. "Okay, jagiya. I'm coming right now" he said. "I just had another contraction" I say clenching my bump. "It's okay I'm right here, baby" Doyoung said coming to my rescue. He gets me off the toilet and back onto the bed. "Okay so we need to see how far apart your contractions are. Right?" he said. "Yes we do. That's right" I reply. He holds my hand as I have another contraction. It was bigger one this time. "It's okay, jagiya. Don't panic. I'm right here next to you" Doyoung said. He keeps me calm as I have contractions. It was more than an hour till I was having frequent contractions so we went to the hospital then. Doyoung loaded the car up with all our things and then we left

We arrived at the hospital soon. We parked and I tried to get out but I was too exhausted. My ankles have swollen and my back aches so Doyoung wheeled me in a wheelchair. I asked him to and of course he does anything I ask him to because he is the best husband in the world. "Here we are, sweetie" he said as we open the doors to the birth centre. They get me in quickly and examined me. Contractions were still coming of course. Don't think they are stopping anytime soon. "Y/ N, you are 7cm dilated which is quite fast for a first pregnancy. A c section would still be the safest option for you and the baby. It could be a possibility" the doctor said. "Okay I might go ahead with it" I reply. "We'll see how things go. It might be okay" he said. The doctor leaves the room leaving Doyoung and I alone. "If you have to have a c section I'll be right by you, love" he said holding my hand and smiling. "I know. It will be okay as you'll be there, DoDo" I say. "I will be. We are going to be parents very soon. Anytime when you think about it. Our little boy will be here" Doyoung said. We waited a while till the doctor had to come in. Having a c section is in the back of my mind but I'll probably have to have one. The doctor comes again with a smile on his face. "Hello, Y/ N. Let's check on you and baby again" he said. "Of course" I say. "You are almost fully dilated now but I think a c section will be a better option for you and your son. Baby looks to be a bit on the big side too" he said. "Okay I'll go with it" I reply. I agreed with having a c section. Doyoung agreed too of course. The safest option for me and our baby boy. Soon they took me into the operating room. They didn't mess about much as I was nearly fully satisfied. Doyoung could come in with me of the. I wouldn't be able to do it without him. They didn't hesitate on getting on with it. They put me under a local anaesthetic and waited till it had numbed my abdomen to start the c section. I didn't feel a thing when they cut of course. I glad I went with this option as it was safer. Our son was born not too long after. It was a good sign that he cried a lot just after he was born. He's quite a big boy

After the c section I got taken into the room I was I earlier to recover and come doing before we meet our baby boy for the first time. They said that he's healthy and well. He just needs checking over like all newborns. "You did so well, Darling. I'm so proud of you. My wife is the most wonderful woman in this world" Doyoung said kissing my hand. "I didn't do much really" I laugh. About 15 minutes later we got to meet our newborn son. The midwives brought him in. I had come round from the anaesthetic by then. He's so cute and has some wild, crazy hair going on. "Awwww. He's gorgeous, Doyoung. I know it's kinda wrong to call a boy gorgeous but he is gorgeous" I said. "He is. I definitely agree. Hello, my son" Doyoung said. He picked our baby boy up and handed him to me. "Here he is. Our gorgeous boy. Meet your momma, son" Doyoung said handing the baby to me. "He really is our miracle baby, Doyoung. He's so sweet and adorable" I reply. "He is. It's a miracle that we have him after being told we couldn't have children. He really is a gift from God" Doyoung said. "Oh he is. God blessed us with this little boy" I say. Doyoung and I take a while to get to know our newborn son. "What should we name him, DoDo?" I say. "Hmmm well we decided on a few good names for him but I think Dongjun really suits him" he replies. "Yep, Dongjun is a great name. He looks like a little Dongjun" I reply. Our boys name is Dongjun and he's adorable. We are so blessed to have him. He's our little miracle baby boy
