20. b. Prenatal Class

In the last few weeks Y/ N and I have joined prenatal classes. We are enjoying going to classes and we are learning a lot so much. We are at our fourth class tonight. We are there now having a class. We are doing breathing and mediation techniques for labor and delivery tonight. Y/ N is finding them really helpful and useful. They are calming her down. The fathers can do the breathing exercises too. We are doing that now. Y/ N is breathing in and out slowly. "You're doing well, sweetie" I said. She like grins at me. "Say that to me when I'm actually giving birth and it will be a totally different story" she replies. "No you'll still do amazing" I smile. We do the breathing exercises for a few more minutes and then listen to what the ladies have to say next. Okay that was it. The class was over. We did get booklets to take home on what we've been doing. Y/ N said she's going to practice them most days between now and the baby coming. "That was good. It helped me a lot" she said as we left. "Yes it was and I'm glad it did, darling" I reply. "I think I'm going to keep up with it most days" Y/ N said. I smile. We get back to the car and drive home. "Do you fancy something from the takeaway to take home?" I suggest. "Sure I could do with something and we haven't really eaten tonight" Y/ N replies. "Yes as a one off treat" I smile. We go to our local and favourite takeaway and we order our favourite dishes and go home and to eat. Our fourth prenatal class went well tonight. Y/ N and I learnt some useful and helpful tips

Johnny 💛

Johnny and I have been doing short online prenatal classes since he got back from Seoul a couple of week ago. We gave going sone good, useful and helpful video on YouTube that we follow once a week. They are posted and we watch them right after. There is going to be one posted spoken tonight so we are ready to follow it and take notes on what is being said. Johnny and I sit on the couch and make ourselves comfortable. "Do you want a drink or anything, sweetie?" he asks. "Just water is fine, babe" I reply. "Okay" he smiles going into the kitchen to get me some water. He comes back a moment later and hands me the glass of water and kisses my cheek. I get YouTube on my laptop and we go on the video and start watching it. "Another baby class" Johnny said. "Yes I know. Anyway ssshhh it's starting" I reply. "Okay" he whispers. The YouTube prenatal class starts and Johnny and I sit back and watch it. The good thing is about it being on YouTube is that you can watch it as many times as you want which is great. Today's class is on caring and looking after a baby. How to change them and care for them which we need to know. I have a notebook and a pen and I'm taking down some notes. Johnny is too. They talk about after birth and all that. We learn some useful and helpful things about that. Notes that I will refer back to before and when the baby is here. The video lasted about 45 minutes. "That was good. We learnt more so we will be better parents now" Johnny said. "Oh yes we will" I reply. Online prenatal class was good tonight. We look forward to the next one so we can learn more

Taeil 🤎

Taeil and I have decided to join a pregnancy, prenatal class to help us get ready for the arrival of our baby in the next 7 weeks or so. We can't believe we are going to be parents so very soon. Anyway we are on our way to the prenatal class now at one of the local elementary schools in our area. Taeil is driving and I'm telling him where to go as he isn't sure. "Am I driving okay?" Taeil asks. "Yes you are doing just fine, honey" I reply. He smiles. "Just around the corner" I say. He turns around the corner and we arrive at the school. Taeil and I get out and we hold hands as we walk in. "This is it" he said. I smile. We take a seat along with the other couples. The class begins with an introduction and slideshow. "Good evening, everyone and welcome to pitch first prenatal class here at Sunny Hill Elementary. I am Bora and I'm your leader for these classes" a middle aged lady said. We then all introduced ourselves to each other in the class. "I'm Y/ N and this is my boyfriend Taeil and we are expecting our baby in less than two months time. We don't wanna know if it's a boy or a girl" I said. "Hey, everyone" he said. There is another slideshow and information. There then was a little time at the end to ask questions. "Are the fathers allowed in the delivery room when the women are giving birth?" Taeil asks. "Yes of course. It's of course by choice but yes of course you can see your child being born. Some men choose not to. Y/ N you can have a birthing partner like your mom, sister or a friend" Bora said. "Okay thank you" Taeil replies. I really want Taeil there by my side when the baby is being born and I'm sure he'll want to be there too. He said he's going to buy a parenting book to find out more. Anyway our first prenatal class went rather well tonight. Taeil and I both asked questions

Yuta 🖤

Last week Yuta and I went to our first prenatal class at the local church. We decided to join as it's a great thing to do when you are expecting your first baby or in our case babies. We are at our second class right now tonight. We are doing breathing exercises and yoga moves now. We are on a yoga mat doing the exercises now. Yuta is sat behind me with his hands on my bump. "Are you nice and relaxed, babe?" he asks. "Yes I am. So nice and relaxed" I reply. "Great" he said. "I could just stay here all day" I say. "Awwww, baby" he said. We do it if a while longer till we were instructed to do something else. "Ladies, that should help you a lot" the lady who runs the class says. I am definitely going to keep those up at home till the babies come. "That was fun. Eh. Don't ya think, babe?" Yuta said. "Yes it was, babe. It was fun. I think I might be purchasing a yoga mat very soon. I want to keep up doing those exercises at home" I say. "Well why don't we go and get one now" Yuta said. "Okay sure we can" I reply. We go somewhere we know will have yoga mats. The local supermarket. We ask where they are located. I grab a good one and we buy it. "There we go, babe. You can do yoga at home in your own time" Yuta said. "Yes I can. Thanks" I reply. We go home after our prenatal class and purchasing my very own yoga mat
