"I've got this guy in the bag. So, I'm just going to grab a healthy breakfast," Jake smirked confidently as Raymond questioned him about the murder suspect he had waiting in the interrogation room.

"Are those gummy bears wrapped in a fruit roll-up?" Raymond raised a brow at Jake's 'healthy breakfast'.

"Breakfast burrito," He corrected with a shrug, "But yeah."

"I pity your dentist," With that, Raymond walked away from him.

"Joke's on you," He called after him with a smile, "I don't have a dentist."

"Jake, Jake!" Natasha called in a hushed whisper as she, Rosa, Amy, Charles, and Terry rushed over to him.

"Uh-oh, this can't be good," His eyes widened as he watched them nervously. He would be lying if he said he wasn't scared that Natasha was going to hurt him for one of the incredibly stupid things he'd done this week.

"Major crimes division just called. They're taking over your murder case. The vulture is on his way here now," Terry grit out The Vulture's name in obvious disdain.

"No!" Jake gasped, "Doesn't that guy get tired of stealing our cases?"

"He took one from me and Rosa last week," Natasha bit out at the memory of The Vulture stealing their bust from them. They'd followed the perp up ten flights of stairs and had finally cornered him only to have The Vulture stroll out of the elevator and steal the arrest from them.

"Since I got the call from major crimes I already had to confiscate three throwing knives from Tasha, lock up the janitor's closet where she keeps her chairs, and raid her desks for any other sharp objects she could throw at him when he gets here," Terry confessed as he glanced at her in worry, "And Terry had to confiscate a lot of things from her desk."

"We both agreed it would be for the best legally," Natasha pointed out sharply before she laid her hand on Jake's arm to get his attention. In their rage against The Vulture they didn't hear the giggle Charles let out at the gesture, "Don't worry, we can stall him until you get the confession."

Amy nodded as she looked between the group. "We rehearsed this, you guys. This isn't a drill. Everyone know their assignments?"

"All right, hands in," Jake held his hand out as the rest followed, "Commence operation: Broken Feather. And go!"

With that, the squad broke out of the huddle and rushed into their positions. Natasha would help Jake get a confession, she was way scarier than him, and act as a last line of defense in case the rest of the squad failed. Charles would spill coffee all over The Vulture's jacket to stall him but to their luck, he didn't even flinch, apparently his whale-skin jacket whipped off easily. Next Rosa would try to distract him by flirting with him but he just complimented himself and kept moving.
