With Wendy and Larry:
The door to Ludwig’s room creaked open slowly, allowing the second youngest Koopaling and female Koopaling to peek their heads in, noticing that the room was indeed empty.
Larry gently pushed the door open further, about to step in, but Wendy held him back.
“Hey, what are you-?” began Larry, but Wendy shushed him.
“You can’t just WALTZ in there! What if Ludwig set up some traps to prevent anyone from entering his room while he was away?” whispered Wendy.
Larry's eyes widened in realization.
“Ooooh, ok, that makes a lot more sense. What should we do, then?” asked Larry, also whispering.
Wendy took her nail file out of her shell, tossing it into the center of the room.
After a minute of nothing happening, Wendy walked into the room and picked up her nail file, storing it back into her shell.
“Alright, it should be safe now that we know he doesn’t have any traps in here. Close the door, and don’t speak too loud. The last thing we need is someone catching us in here” whispered Wendy, gesturing for Larry to enter.
Larry nodded, a little nervous as he walked in, looking around to make sure nothing would spring out at them as he gently closed the door.
“Wow...I’ve never actually been inside of Ludwig’s room....” muttered Larry, just making the sudden realization that he had never been inside of the dark room.
Wendy nodded, also a little shocked to actually be inside her eldest brother’s room.
Looking around, the two could see that the walls were painted a dark royal blue color, the floor being made of dark polished wood. There were some classical wall panel mouldings along the walls, painted the same dark royal blue color as the walls. There were some classical, golden brass wall lamps that were spaced out evenly. They were all off, basking the entire room in darkness, the only light source being the partially open curtains with only a little bit of sunlight shining through, the curtains being a darker shade of blue.
There was a grand piano on one side of the room, several string instruments such as violins, a guitar and a cello hanging on the wall near it.
On the other side of the room, there was a bed with a bedside table next to it with a lamp. The bed was pushed against the corner, where the large window was.
There was also a desk with a chair and a bookshelf beside it. The bookshelf was full of different kinds of books, such as advanced spell books, a couple of scientific books, and some fiction novels that looked advanced and difficult to read. On the desk, there was a small desk lamp, a mug with some pens and pencils, and two stacks of different paper types. One stack of papers was normal blank paper, while the other one was a stack of blank sheet paper for writing piano music. There were some drawers, one of them looking like it needed a key in order to unlock.
There was a door in the opposite corner the bed was in, quite possibly leading to the bathroom.
Because the entire room was basking in darkness with very minimal lighting, it gave the entire room an eerie mood.
“Huh...Ludwig’s room is a little...dark and depressing, if I’m going to be honest” muttered Larry, unsure of how else to describe what he was feeling being inside of the room.
Wendy nodded in agreement.
“Yeah. When Ludwig comes back, I’m going to have a serious talk about decorating his room so it looks less depressing” said Wendy, resting her hand on her hip.
