Their miraculous beep another time, one minute left.

"Do you think you can walk?" Ladybug asks.

"Yeah, I think so." Chat responds, trying to get back on his two feet, but failing and falling to the ground once again.

"We've got no time left. Close you eyes Chat." Ladybug says, closing her own eyes first.

"Spots off." "Claws in."

Marinette and Adrien keep their eyes shut, which makes them both think back to the time Dark Owl attacked. Plagg and Tikki — both exhausted — appear. Plagg takes some Camembert out of Adriens jacket while Tikki gets a macaron from Marinette's purse. When they've both finished eating, Adrien and Marinette transform and open their eyes.

"I've got to get you somewhere else." Ladybug says, taking Chat with her to the rooftops. He's heavy and she almost dropped him multiple times, but eventually she managed to get him safely to a rooftop. Ladybug doesn't understand why her miraculous ladybugs didn't fix Chat's pain and it doesn't matter, she won't leave his side until he feels better.

"Where does it hurt?" Ladybug asks concerned.

"Mostly my back and head, but it's not a big deal, My Lady. I can-" Chat starts, but Ladybug doesn't let him finish.

"No, you can't move yet and I won't leave till you can."

Again, a smile appears on Chats face. "That sounds purfect."

The sun starts to set, as it was already evening when Lady WiFi attacked. It's beautiful to see how the sun makes place for the moon and how her light covers Paris. A cold breeze sets in and Ladybug crawls closer to Chat.

"You should get some sleep, you'll feel better tomorrow." Ladybug says.

"You should get some sleep too, My Lady, you look tired." Chat responds, Ladybug doesn't want to bother him with the fact that he's right and that she hasn't had a good night sleep in weeks. She's afraid someone will get akumatised in the middle of the night. She feels like it's her responsibility as the new guardian to be awake when that happens.

"Don't worry about me, Chat, I'll be fine." She pets Chat until he falls asleep and — even though she was planning on staying awake all night herself — she eventually gives in to the fatigue and closes her own eyes too.

Hours later, as the sun starts to rise, Chat Noir is the first to open his eyes. He notices his lady is still sleeping tight next to him. He refuses to move, knowing it would wake her. He just watches Paris from the rooftops, waiting for Ladybug to wake up too. He knows there's no rush in going home, no one will notice he was out all night and he is free from photo shoots and other responsibilities today.

Eventually, Ladybug wakes up with a big yawn. "Goodmorning My Lady." Chat says with a grin. It takes a little while before Ladybug remembers the day before and realizes she had fallen asleep.

"Hey kitty, how are you doing?"

"I guess all I needed was a little rest, I feel pawsome." Chat says, but he's a good liar, he won't bother his lady with the fact that his back still hurts. A lot. "How are you feline, you looked so tired last night."

"I'm good actually. To be honest, I've had the best night sleep in weeks. You make a good pillow."

"I'm glad. Do you wanna hang out today?" Chat asks smoothly, but Ladybug has to refuse.

"I haven't called my parents to tell them where I was, I should head home and come up with an explanation. You should too, kitty, your parents must be worried sick." Chat knows that his father doesn't care whether he's home or not, but he decided it's indeed time for him to go home too and feed a hungry, black kwami.

"See you again soon, My Lady."

"Bye kitty. Bug out."

As Marinette de-transforms in an alley near her house, Tikki re-appears. "Marinette, you shouldn't stay as Ladybug for that long. It tires me." Tikki says while a big yawn escapes her little mouth.

"I'm sorry, Tikki, I wasn't planning on falling asleep." Marinette apologises, giving Tikki a cookie and walking towards her home.

Entering through the front door, she sees that her parents and Alya are there. They all have a concerned look on their faces. Her excuse of staying over at Alya's place last night won't work. While her parents walk up to her, she quickly thinks of another excuse.

"Where have you been?" "We were so worried!" they say simultaneously.

"I- took a walk but got lost on the way. Then I stayed over at- Luka's because I bumped into him. And- my phone died, so I couldn't let you guys know. I'm really sorry." Marinette apologises.

"It's okay, sweetheart. We're just glad you're okay." Sabine says, Marinette is lucky to have such good parents.

Adrien, on the other hand, arrives through his window without anyone knowing he hasn't slept in his own bed last night. "Claws in." He says, Plagg appears, he too is exhausted. Adrien walks to Plagg's Camembert collection, but his back hurts more and more with every step he takes.

"Why didn't you tell Ladybug you're still hurt?" Plagg asks, he flies up to Adrien.

"I shouldn't bother her with that, she's got enough to worry about already." Adrien says, thinking back to the day before, when Ladybug ran into his arms and hugged him like never before. It already feels like a lifetime ago, yet it was only yesterday.

"What are you planning on doing now? You can't keep this a secret." Plagg says, he cares about Adrien, even though he doesn't always show it.

"Watch me."
