Alix accepted the miraculous, of course she did, she has been waiting for this day since she knew she would get a miraculous in the future. Marinette explained how she would recruit Carapace and Rena Rouge again and how it was Alix' job to inform Chat Noir that they would meet on top of the school at 5 PM. They then leave for classes.

Their first class is history taught by Ms Bustier. (A/N idk who teaches history, I don't think it has been said in an episode) Marinette settles down next to Alya and once she sees Adrien, she remembers she agreed on going to the movies with him today. She still needs to make up an excuse why she can't come, but she's can't think of any right now, this is a disaster!

"Good morning everyone." Miss Bustier says with her usual, loving smile.

"Just like every class, I'd like to begin with the usual exercise. I'd like you all to write something nice down for a classmate, and I choose to whom you're writing. It's anonymous, but you can make someone real happy by your words." Ms Bustier hands out papers with names of a classmate on it. Marinette has to write something to Nathaniel, what doesn't seem that hard to her 'I really love your drawings, you're so talented. Keep doing what you do.'

Adrien has to write a message to Marinette, although he has no idea what he can possibly write. She already knows she's awesome! She's sweet, caring, an amazing designer and she's not scared when it comes to protecting her friends. What else is there to say? 'I know that you're amazing Marinette, not many people have the ability to put others above themselves again and again. You have that ability and it makes you an amazing person.' Everyone hands in the papers and miss Bustier hands them out again. Marinette receives her's and she starts to smile by reading it, she has no idea who it could come from, but she doesn't really care.

After they've finished reading the letters, they open their books and start with the class. Miss Bustier starts with rehearsing the things they studied last class and continues with checking the homework. Marinette totally forgot to finish her homework after the letter she received, can this day get any worse?

"That's detention, Marinette." Apparently it can get worse.

"Why? I only forgot to make my homework once!"

"You've been late several times too, all summed up leaves me with no other choice than to put you into detention." Marinette has never been to detention, which is a miracle if you think about it, but why does it have to be today out of all days?

"That's not fair, Marinette tries her best, I'm sure there's a reason why she couldn't finish her homework today." Adrien objects.

Of course there's a reason, but she can't just tell them 'I received a letter from my future self so I forgot to make my homework.' The my-dog-ate-my-homework excuse would work better and she doesn't even have a dog.

"My parents had a hard day at the bakery and I had to help them out. I put my alarm earlier today so I could finish it this morning, but I overslept so if I tried to finish it this morning, I would have been too late for school." Marinette comes up with a lie.

"I'm sorry Marinette. I'm sure what you're saying is true, but I still need you to go to detention today." Miss Bustier says, after which she continues the class. This might be the worst day of her life, and she knows the worst part hasn't even come yet.

It feels like an eternity but lunch finally arrives. Thursday is the only day of the week where Nino and Alya take some time for themselves and each other while having lunch, which is the perfect opportunity for Ladybug to give them their miraculouses.

Marinette leaves to transform in a safe alley a few streets away from the school, she then swings to the park where she knows Alya and Nino will be. They're already sitting on a bench, they laugh, smile and kiss. It's so sweet, she feels bad that she has to come in and interrupt their moment. She swings her yo-yo and lands in front of them.

"Ladybug, whoah." Nino says.

"Hi Alya Césaire and Nino Lahiffe." Ladybug starts, showing them the miraculouses.
"I thought-" Alya starts, but Ladybug interrupts her.
"I know, and this is most likely your last mission, but there's a huge fight coming today and I'm going to need all the help I can get. Meet me at the top of your school at 5 PM today." Ladybug gives them their miraculouses and leaves to arrive at the school a minute later. She meets up with Alix, who tells her she succeeded in contacting Chat Noir. Now the only thing left to do for Marinette is telling Adrien she can't come to the movies with him, this is going to be hard.
