Have fun reading the last chapter of 'trust me' <3

It's been a month since the day of HawkMoth's downfall. Adrien was adopted by a loving family two weeks ago and he's never felt more loved since his mom died. He went to see his father and Natalie three days ago, it was rough for him, but at least he got an explanation why Gabriel did what he did.

As for Marinette and Adrien, they got together as a couple. It happened soon after they came clean about their feelings for each other. Their lives couldn't be any better.
Well, maybe a little better.

Someone taps on Marinette's window and by the sound of it, she knows who it is. She opens her balcony and greets Chat Noir with a small kiss.

"Hey kitty, I didn't expect to see you today, but it's always a pleasant surprise."

"Hey Bugaboo." Chat says with a smile, giving Marinette a kiss. It's that moment when Marinette remembers something she made.

"I need to grab something real quick, I'll be right back." She says, leaving for her room. Chat is a bit confused, but decides he should just wait for his lady to come back and tell him what she had to grab.

Marinette is searching her wardrobe, it has to be in there.

"They're right here, Marinette." Tikki says, Marinette feels a feeling of relief, grabs the two hoodies and climbs back on her balcony. Chat immediately sees what she's holding in her hands and starts laughing.

"You told me you liked them and I had time to make them because HawkMoth got defeated." She says, wearing the black hoodie with cat ears Adrien saw during their ride towards the field trip herself. Chat takes the red hoodie and wears it, it fits perfectly.

"Do you trust me?" Chat asks after they've talked for a bit.

"Of course I trust you, I always have and I always will." Marinette answers, although she has no idea where this question came from.

"Good, then close your eyes and hold on tight, don't peak." He says, picking her up, Marinette is surprised but does not object. She hugs Chat Noir with closed eyes as he carries her over the rooftops.

After a few minutes, he puts Marinette down "Claws in." He says, transforming into his civilian form, still wearing his hoodie.

"You may open your eyes, Bugaboo." He says, which Marinette does. They're in an alley, which isn't rare because Chat had to transform back.

"Are you ready to go, m'lady?" He asks, bowing like Chat usually does and pressing a kiss on her hand.

"Lead the way."

Marinette follows Adrien to the cinema, "I promised you I'd take you to the movies another time, didn't I?" He says, which makes Marinette giggles, she already forgot about it.

"I remember, what movie are we watching?"

"I know you don't like horror movies, so what about romantic and action, isn't that a bit like our love life?"

Marinette nods, "Yeah, I guess it is."

They walk inside together, buy tickets and sit down in the room. This date cannot be ruined by anyone, not by Stormy Weather, not by Gorizilla and not by HawkMoth, it's just just the two of them, 'you and me against the world', together at last.
