It's Thursday again and since Marinette has a little homework left, she wakes up early. She goes to her desk and is about to make her history homework when she notices a little piece of paper. She can't recall seeing that piece of paper when she went to bed yesterday. With curiosity, she opens the letter and starts reading.

'Hi mini-me!
It's weird to write a letter to my past self, but I'm gonna try to explain everything in as little words as possible. Paris will be in big trouble today. Volpina, Queen Wasp and Stormy Weather will each attack Paris this afternoon simultaneously, they're more powerful than ever and we're not able to stop them if we're unprepared. My lucky charm gave me a watch with a rabbit, I think we both know what to do with that. Gather as much allies as you can and take on the three akumas before they join up together, because when they do, they will be impossible to defeat. I trust you'll fix this, but I need you to have faith in your allies and yourself, don't get distracted. Adrien will ask you to the movies today and how hard it will be, you have to say no to him for Paris' safety. I have faith in you, so all you have to do is have faith in yourself too. Good luck!

"Tikki, there's something you have to see." Marinette says, letting Tikki read the letter while processing what she just read herself.

After Tikki read the letter, they're both speechless. Marinette simply opens the miracle box and takes four miraculouses without saying a word and then leaves for school. She skips breakfast and forgets to wave goodbye to her parents, her head is such a big mess, but she knows she can't get distracted. She has to find Alix and give her the rabbit miraculous, it doesn't matter if she does this as Marinette or as Ladybug since Alix will be the only miraculous holder who she can't keep her identity a secret from. Then, she needs to give Alya and Nino their miraculouses as Ladybug while Alix informs Chat Noir. It will be Alya and Nino's last mission, but she knows she can count on them one last time. It will all work out as long as she stays focused.

"Hey Marinette." Adrien's says, which wakes Marinette from her thoughts. Will this be where she gets asked to the movies?

"Oh, hi Adrien. I didn't see you there."

"Are you feeling okay? You look a bit pale."

"Me? Oh, I'm fine- good, I mean good. In fact, I've never been better. Everything is fine. How are you?"

"I'm good. So, uh, do you have any plans today? I've got no photo shoot or fencing lessons and I really want to go to the movies today."

She has to reject him, she can't get distracted. She has to reject him for the sake of Paris. "I- uh. Yes, I mean- no, I mean- I don't know. I'd like to, but-"

"Good, I'll meet you here after school." Adrien says before leaving to meet up with Nino.

"Wait- I didn't-" Marinette tries, but Adrien is already out of her reach.

"What was that about?" Alya asks her best friend.

"He asked me to the movies." Marinette whispers quietly, she can't believe she accepted, she did the one thing her future self told her not to do.

"What did you say? I couldn't hear you." Alya asks.

"He asked me to the movies." Marinette responses a little louder.

"About time, I'm so happy for you!"

"Yeah, amazing." Marinette responses, but she doesn't sound happy at all.

When they're on their way to classes, she sees Alix and Kim talking at the end of the hallway.

"I need to go to the toilet, I'll meet you in class." She lies, walking over to Alix and Kim.

"Hey Alix, can I talk to you? In private." Alix is surprised by the sudden conversation, but agrees and leaves with Marinette.

"I'm not sure how to tell you this, but Paris will be attacked today and I need your help to stop it." Marinette says, it's probably the worst way to do this, but she can't think of another fast way to tell her.

"Just leave it to Ladybug and Chat Noir, I'm sure they'll fix things. Just because you helped them defeat an akuma once doesn't mean you can take control." Alix says, she's about to leave when Marinette grabs her by her arm.

"You don't get it, Ladybug needs you, I need you, I need Bunnyx!" Marinette takes the miraculous out of her purse and shows it to Alix. Alix is confused at first, but starts laughing afterwards.

"You know, it actually makes sense. You're always late, you're never where you say you are and you randomly disappear when an akuma appears. I don't understand why I didn't see it sooner."

Marinette doesn't have time to laugh, she needs to stay focussed "Alix Kubdel, I present to you the rabbit miraculous, which grants you the power of evolution. You will use it for the greater good. After the villains are defeated, you may keep the miraculous, but you'll only come in action when Chat Noir or Ladybug tells you to. Do you accept?"
