"Quickly, this way!" Marinette shouts, leading everyone to the emergency exit. Luckily, everyone listens to her and no one makes a big deal out of it. Both Adrien and Marinette think about a fast and safe way to transform, but neither can think of one.
"I think that's everyone." Marinette informs Adrien. People run away while trying to avoid stormy weather.
However, there's one person who stays " I can't find my son, has anyone seen my boy?" The dad shouts concerned.
"What does your son look like?" Marinette asks the man politely, but doesn't wait for an answer when she sees a little boy around the age of six still walking around in the cinema while the building is crumbling. He looks like he has no idea what's going on, which is dangerous.
Without hesitation, Marinette runs towards the boy and pushes him aside when parts of the roof fall down. Luckily, they're both unharmed, but their only way out is now impossible to go through: Bricks and stones block the way.
"Marinette!" Adrien shouts concerned, he has no idea what's going on on the other side and doesn't know if she's safe or stuck.
"We're okay, but our way out is blocked. I'll search for another path. Don't stay here, it's too dangerous." Adrien doesn't want to leave Marinette, but this might be the only way he has a chance of transforming, he can only save Marinette as Chat Noir.
"Okay." Adrien answers.
"Are you really gonna leave your girlfriend in there, boy?" The dad asks him.
"Marinette? She's not my girlfriend." Adrien blushes "She's just a friend and I know she can take care of herself, she has proven it multiple times. The safest thing we can do is get out of here and contact Ladybug and Chat Noir." Adrien says, taking the dad with him. The dad doesn't want to leave, not without his son, but Adrien leaves him no choice.
"Can you run?" Marinette asks the boy. The little boy nods.
"Run with me, okay? I'll get you back to your dad, but I need you to be brave." The small boy nods again. So Marinette starts jogging, the boy obeys and follows her. She looks around, searching for different exits, but she can't find any she can use. She won't give up though, she has to find a way to get out of here, take the boy to his dad and transform to save the rest of Paris. And all that while making sure they don't get hit by the bricks falling down.
Eventually, she sees a way out, it isn't an official exit, but it will do. The bricks that fell down lay in a good position for them to climb to the roof, she'll see how she'll go on from there. Marinette starts climbing and manages to make it to the top, although she's exhausted because of it. Looking back, she sees that the little boy is still standing at the ground, not moving an inch to try and climb the rubble.
"I'm scared." He says with a terrified voice, a tear rolling down his cheek.
"Don't cry, it will all be okay. Remember when I told you you had to be brave?" The little boy nods "I need you to be a little more brave now, I believe you can do this as long as you believe in yourself" The boy starts to climb, but he fails several times and falls down a few times. Marinette is about to climb back down to help him when a certain black cat appears. He takes the small boy and carries him to Marinette.
"Chat? What are you doing here?" Marinette asks concerned, she has no idea his back is healed already.
"Hello to you too, purincess."
"I'm being serious, remember what you promised Ladybug? You shouldn't-" she starts lecturing him, but he interrupts her.
"My back is healed, don't worry. Can I help you and this little boy and get you two to safety? I think I saw his father on my way here."
"You can drop me wherever you want, I'll make sure to get home right away, but can you please take this boy to his dad? He's scared and needs someone he knows to confront him."
"Of course." Chat obeys, he drops Marinette a few blocks away from the cinema and brings the boy to his dad.
Marinette runs to a safe alley, but doesn't transform yet. "I'm scared, Tikki. I think HawkMoth has been planning this attack for weeks, how can I possibly stop him?"
"You're not alone. You've got Chat and you can recruit others again, even if it's their last mission."
"I can't give anyone their miraculous, HawkMoth knows their identities, it wouldn't surprise me if he has set a trap."
"I know you will make the right decision, whatever it is." Marinette isn't sure Tikki is right, but decides she'll find out sooner or later.
"Tikki, spots on."
"Hi m'lady, good to see you." Chat says as soon as he sees Ladybug arrive.
"Hi kitty, is your back healed?"
"Yes, it's healed. I'm feline pawsome."
"I'm glad, now let's defeat Stormy Weather again."
The two heroes spy on Stormy Weather and try to think of a way to defeat her. "She seems way more powerful than last times we fought her. She can't only control the weather, but she can make earthquakes too, we have no idea what else she can do." Ladybug concludes in her observation.
"Do you have a plan?" Chat asks her.
"I might, but it's hard to know if it will work, especially since we don't know how powerful she is this time." Ladybug starts explaining the plan to her partner, but once they're ready to attack, they see Volpina and Queen Wasp joining Stormy Weather.
"I think our problem just tripled."
