Just before the heroes arrive at the Agreste Mansion, Queen Bee takes a minute to talk to Ladybug on her own, she was afraid to talk in front of everyone because of what she did to them a few months ago.
"Did you know that Gabriel Agreste has a son who's staying home, we have to get him out before the battle."
Ladybug smiles, she's glad Chloé is being thoughtful. "I already took care of that, but thank you for reminding me, I can see that you're trying to change."
"I'll give a sign to Rena Rouge when the plan can start. She'll lead the plan until I'm back." Everyone nods and Ladybug goes through a window to arrive in Adrien's room. She unifies Mullo and Tikki and uses Mullo's power to become multiple small copies of herself. She spreads around the mansion to see if there's any clue on where HawkMoth keeps Adrien hidden. She still can't believe he would do that to his own son. She wonders if Adrien knows HawkMoth is his dad, it must be a hard thing to process.
When afternoon starts, a small version of Ladybug overhears a conversation between Natalie and Gabriel in his office.
"He only eats when his kwami brings the food, I need him to eat but it's a high risk allowing his kwami to come every day." Gabriel says, he sounds annoyed.
"Maybe you should just let him go without his ring. You pretend you've been worried sick when he arrives home and he won't suspect anything."
"That's out of the question, I already told you I'll free him as soon as I get my hands on Ladybug's miraculous. He has to forgive me as soon as I bring his mother back. I just need a little more time."
"Do you really think he'll forgive you?"
"Of course, he's my son." Gabriel says convinced.
"I'll allow his kwami to bring him the food one more time. I don't wanna starve my own son. Natalie, get his food ready." Natalie nods and leaves to arrive with a plate of food a few minutes later. Gabriel pushes the painting of his wife to the side and opens a safe behind it. He takes the cat miraculous and closes it again. Plagg comes flying out, Ladybug notices he's looking sad and scared. Tikki once told her that one of Plagg's previous owners was abusive, he must have terrible flashback to that time now. She needs to save Plagg, too. Ladybug stays a little longer to hear how the conversation ends. She hears Gabriel explaining to Plagg that he's not allowed to leave the house or to tell anything that can help Adrien discover HawkMoth's identity. Plagg can't disobey, so he nods. Gabriel presses a few triangles on the painting and he disappears into the ground, Plagg following him. Ladybug is glad she has a good eye for detail so she remembers the exact triangles he pressed.
She leaves for Adrien's room again and when all her small copies gather, she turns into her bigger version again. Ladybug swings towards Rena Rouge, tells her all the details and how the plan is gonna work best with the current situation. Rena Rouge then leaves to tell the other heroes while Ladybug goes back into the Agreste Mansion to find the perfect time to strike.
About fifteen minutes after she left Rena Rouge, the other heroes come in through various entrances. Natalie, who is the only one in the not-secret part of the house, opens the safe behind the painting, grabs the peacock miraculous and transforms into Mayura. Ladybug takes this as the perfect opportunity to strike. She swings her yo-yo around Mayura so she's unable to move. She then takes the peacock miraculous and stores it safely in her yo-yo. That went way too easy, but she knows the hard part has yet to come.
Pegasus is the first to come into the room, as he was the one to enter the house closest to the office. "Make sure she doesn't escape, it's Mayura without her miraculous. I'm going after HawkMoth." Ladybug orders, walking up the the painting. She presses the triangles she saw Hawk Moth press a little while ago and the ground beneath her feet start to sink. Her heart is beating rapidly, it's all going so fast. A week ago, she didn't even have a clue on who HawkMoth was. Now, she knows his identity, got the peacock miraculous and is close to either defeating him or getting defeated by him. She isn't sure if her heart is beating fast or stopped beating, she holds her breath as if she doesn't need oxygen to live, she's shaking but trying not to, she swings her yo-yo to attack or block if needed. It's time to end this once and for all.
"I'm coming for you, kitty."
