The moment the class stops fighting and pays attention to what's happening, is the same moment Rose shouts for Juleka's name.

"What's wrong?" Marinette asks her.

"Juleka. She was in front of me just a moment ago but now she'd just gone."

Of course, everyone knows what's happening, but Alya is the first to say it "There's an akuma attack and I don't have my phone. That's such a bummer for my LadyBlog!"

"Yeah, but why? We're not even in Paris." Marinette states, HawkMoth can't possibly know that Ladybug is in this class, can he?

"I heard there's a catastrophe here, so I've come to help you." They hear a familiar black cat say.

"Chat Noir?!" Marinette is the first to speak, but Alya continues,

"Can I have an interview after you and Ladybug purified the akuma?"

"Uh- well, I don't know- I have something to do-" Chat starts panicking, he has to get back to Adrien after the battle as soon as possible.

Luckily, they don't continue their conversation when Nino comes running towards the three of them.

"Dudes, Adrien disappeared too, we have to hurry and find a solution!"

"We gotta save Adrien!" Marinette says confidently, which makes Chat blush, he's never seen her being this confident when she talks about or with him in civilian form.

"Let Ladybug and Chat Noir fix this, there's nothing you can do." Alya says, pulling back Marinette, which annoys her. Just because Tikki isn't here yet, doesn't mean she can't help her partner.

"She's right, I don't know how I'll be feline if something happens to you." Chat says,

"But you are hurt, you can't fight alone." Marinette says, getting questioning looks from Alya and Nino. She chooses to ignore them. Chat isn't persuaded yet though. "Just trust me, okay? I can help." Marinette says again, she's determined, which results in Chat accepting her offer. "Fine, but only because Ladybug won't answer my call. Once she arrives, you get yourself to safety." Chat orders, Marinette nods in understanding.

"Do you know who got akumatized?" Chat asks Marinette, who starts thinking. It can't be any student, as they were all here when people started disappearing, so it has to be a teacher.

"Miss Bustier." She answers without hesitation.

"Any idea where her akuma went?"

"I haven't even seen her yet. So no, I don't."

It is that exact moment when Ma'am Diamonds appears on scene. "You will finish the mystery before everyone disappears." She says, while they see how another of their classmates, Ivan, disappears.

"You gotta stop this, Miss Bustier!" Chat says.

"I am not Miss Bustier anymore, I'm-"

"I don't care who HawkMoth said you are now. You're the best teacher we've ever had, you never let your negative emotions get the better of you. I was there last time you got akumatised, you tried so hard to fight it, so snap out of it now, you can do it." The way Marinette talks strongly reminds him of his lady, it doesn't seem possible that the insecure girl from his class is the same as the one standing in front of him right now.

"I've never felt better, and I'll make sure no one will take this feeling away from me." Ma'am Diamonds says.

"Guess we have to do this the hard way then." Chat says, running towards Miss Bustier and fighting her with his baton. But him being hurt doesn't help one bit and he gets beaten easily.

Marinette looks around, she has to find something that can help her help him. A branch from a tree, one of her hair-ties and some acorns from the ground is what she uses to make a catapult. "Take that!" She shouts while hitting Ma'am Diamonds with the acorns and some stones. It isn't very effective, but it does buy Chat enough time to get away. Ma'am Diamonds doesn't like what Marinette just pulled off and starts walking towards her, a creepy grin on her face.

Chat Noir jumps in between them and picks up Marinette, hiding her behind a tree further away from the akuma. "Stay here, you put yourself in serious danger there. You can't get hurt, I'd never forgive myself."

He's about to leave when Marinette says "The akuma, I think it's in the pawn in her left hand. I saw it when she walked up to me." "Thank you, purincess." He says, then leaves a blushing Marinette alone with her thoughts. She has to help him, but he won't allow her to come as Marinette and she hasn't seen Tikki anywhere yet. This is a disaster!

Think, Marinette, think! She keeps telling herself, but no thoughts come to her mind.

"Marinette!" She hears a familiar voice say after a few minutes, she's never been so happy to see the red kwami. "I came as fast as I could, I'm sorry it took so long."

"It doesn't matter, I'm glad you're here now. Tikki, spots on!"

Arriving on scene, she notices she would be too late if she came a second later. She swings her yo-yo and gets Chat Noir away from Ma'am Diamonds right before his ring gets taken from his hand.

"You told me you weren't hurt anymore!" Ladybug shouts, she sounds angry even though she already knew the truth.

"I didn't want to bother you, my lady."

"I don't care if you bother me, we're supposed to take care of each other, how am I gonna take care of you when I don't know what's going on?"

Chat feels guilty, he should have listened to Plagg and Marinette, he'll never doubt them again. "I'm sorry, I promise I'll take a break to recover after this fight."

"Good, let's finish this quickly. Lucky charm."

Ladybug succeeds in beating the akuma on her own, although she needed Chat Noir's cataclysm for the pawn. She purifies the akuma, throws her lucky charm in the air while shouting "Miraculous Ladybug." and when everything is back to normal, she leaves to arrive as Marinette a little later. Chat Noir does the same thing and Adrien too joins the class to finish the, now not-akumatised, escape room.

It seems like it'll be a promising day, but it is nowhere near an end yet.
