Naging mabilis ang unang buwan ko sa Casa Nueva. I was able to finish the design I have for Hotel del Prado, and its 3D visualization.

Hindi ko na ulit nakita si Santiago matapos ang gabing 'yon. Si Marina na lang ang madalas kong makasalubong tuwing magagawi ako sa Sentro.

I met one of the engineers in-charge for the construction of our hotel. He's not the structural engineer of the project kaya naman ang sabi niya sa akin ay iiinform na lang niya ako kung magkakaroon man ng tweaks sa design ko. Abala raw kasi sa isa pang project sa Manila ang structural engineer kaya siya ang pinadala nito sa akin nang malaman na tapos ko na ang disenyo.

He has also shared his expertise in engineering with me when we met. He praised my work and told me that it's one of the best buildings he has ever seen. Aniya ay pinag-isipan ko raw mabuti ang bawat detalye para sa project na iyon.

I thanked him and told him that while I was in the process of making it, I already consulted some of my colleagues in the Builders. It's always good to consult with the people with expertise in it. Kaya naman confident ako sa disenyong ginawa ko para sa Hotel del Prado.

Fortunately, when he called me after a few days, there weren't any tweaks for my design and it was already approved by the structural engineer.

"Ang ganda ng disenyo," ani Kuya Isaiah habang ipinapakita ko sa kanila ang 3D visualization ng hotel. We're in the veranda while drinking coffee and tea. Nafinalize na ang lahat para sa project. "You indeed live by your title, baby."

I smiled at his compliment. "Thanks, Kuya. Our hotel deserves the best and nothing less."

"We already have the permits needed for the construction. When will it start, Kuya?" si Kuya Ish naman matapos sumimsim ng kanyang kape.

He arrived here yesterday. Aniya'y may importante siyang kailangang kausapin dito sa probinsya. Madalas siyang magpabalik-balik dito at sa Manila. Akala niya yata Cabanatuan lang ang Manila.

"The construction will start three weeks from now under ACES."

"I haven't heard of this construction company. Are you sure that they can handle the work?"

Sa tagal ko sa industriya, hindi ko pa narinig ang tungkol sa ACES. Or maybe it's a starting company? Pero sa bagay, matagal na akong nawala sa Pilipinas.

Kuya Ish chuckled. "Ah, the company and the owner are trustworthy, baby. Katunayan, local ng Casa Nueva ang may-ari ng ACES at kakilala namin ni Kuya ng personal. Kaya wala kang dapat ipangamba."

"I belive you've visited Breanna in the municipal hall?" ani Kuya Ice.

"Yeah," I answered Kuya Ice's question. What about it? I wanted to add but I would sound so interested with it.

"It's ACES who did the job of renovating it. Bukod pa ro'n, sila rin ang naging in-charge para sa mga ipinatayong bagong imprastraktura rito sa Casa Nueva," dagdag pa niya. "Actually, a lot of the well-known families here in Casa Nueva have already tried ACES. And by far, everyone's very satisfied with their job."

I raised my brow and crossed my arms against my chest. "The way you speak of this company I haven't heard of, you seemed so impressed with it."

Kuya Ish smirked at me. "Oh, we are, baby. And I think you'll also be impressed."

"My standards are too high, Kuya Ish."

"Kahit gaano pa katayog ang standards mo ay kaya niyang arukin," si Kuya Ice naman.

I really don't know why my brothers are so impressed with the owner of ACES. I honestly haven't heard about it so maybe, it's just a small construction company. Perhaps, a starting one. But the point that the del Prado men are impressed with it is a big thing. Del Prados are known for having high standards at everything.
