Episode 22 🌸

[A/N: Hi! May nagbabasa pa ba? Hehe. I am truly deeply sorry about not updating for so long. The pandemic and what happened to my family really affected me that much. I got depressed. Hindi ko na alam kung anong gagawin ko. I tried diverting my attention naman at somehow nakakatulong lalo na sa pagiging abala ko for online class prep. Isa din kasi sa nakakaapekto saakin e yung di ako makatulog ng maayos at di rin masyado kumakain. Madaming problemang iniisip kaya pasensya na talaga. Ayaw ko din magsulat ng di maayos yung emotional state ko. At sa katulad ko na nakakaranas din ng ganito, I know it's hard pero kaya natin to! Laban lang! Let's pray and have faith. Also, after staring at the moon tonight for how many minutes bigla nalang akong nabuhayan ulit. I was writing this episode while sitting outside the house under the moon. :) Sa patuloy na sumusuporta, patiently waited at to those who added my story at their reading lists, and to those who voted. Episode Twenty-two 🌸

Amidst the chatters and noises surrounding them, the three young people sitting on their own seats are happily eating and not even bothered by the noises.

Lu could not help but stare at Xyraen while she's eating. He admits that the lady is a beauty and her aura screams nobleness yet the way she acts is so carefree unlike those noble ladies he had known, especially the way she eats. He badly wants to ask the lady to confirm her identity but he refrained himself from doing it.

On the other hand, Xyraen could not help but savor the food she's eating. Even though she ate before she left the place where she studied with her aunt, she still feel hungry. However, she could also not help to take glances at the young boy who's also eating in front of her. He's too cute even he eats messily. She just chuckled at the young boy and put more food on his plate.

Then she looked at Lu and finally, caught him staring at her. She raised her left eyebrow at him.

"What ya' staring at?" She coolly asked the young man that got startled at her sudden question.

"Is this the first time you've seen a lady eating?" She continued before putting food in her mouth.

Lu rolled his eyes then looked at her confused. All the strength he had to refrain himself vanished on the thin air because of his curiosity.

"Who are you, really? I know you're not just a nobody, even though you act like one. You can't hide the fact that you're a noble." He stated but he didn't even get a response from the lady.

"Who are you? Identify yourself" he ordered with his low voice but in an authoritative manner.

But Xyraen just shrugged her shoulders then wiped the side of her lips before speaking.

"So it is true. One can really recognize its own kind, huh?" she said bluntly yet it gave an impact to the two persons who's in front of her.

Kyou stopped eating while Lu stiffened the moment they heard Xyraen said that.

"Lian-er!" Xi Liangyi- Xyraen's mother, called Lian the moment the carriage from the Imperial Palace took off from their residence.

Liangyi is although shocked at her favorite daughter's plan earlier she could not do anything but agree with her and just support her daughter. However, she still wanted to know the reason behind her daughter's plan.
