That's fifteen minutes before my party starts. Patuloy lang ang panood ni Carmela sa akin habang ako eto at aligaga na!
"Felicity, you have to chill out!" sabi niya.
Dumiretso ako sa vanity ko at pumili ng lipstick shade na babagay sa suot kong dress ngayon. I'm wearing a mauve colored bodycon dress by the way. Sigurado akong magugulat na naman si Kuya Gio pag nakita niya kung gaano kaiksi ang suot ko.
But... the hell I care! Susuotin ko kung ano ang gusto ko. And this dress... perfectly suits my party!
I chose a nude pink lipstick and immediately put the product on my lips. I pursed my mouth to make sure that the product was spread evenly. Pagkatapos ay tiningnan ko ang sarili sa salamin. I smiled to myself.
Preparing myself up for this party for almost five hours was totally worth it! Parang dinaanan tuloy ng bagyo ang kwarto ko dahil sa pag-pili ko ng damit.
I fix my dress and pulled it down a bit before I turn towards my best friend.
"How do I look?" I asked.
Pinasadahan niya naman ako ng tingin at nagkibit ng balikat.
"Well, you look... gorgeous as always, Fel."
I smiled. "You look gorgeous, too, Carmela."
Her dress perfectly fits her body. Hindi na niya kailangan pang mag-effort kagaya ko dahil kahit wala siyang gawin, napapansin siya ng tanong gusto niya. E, ako? Ilang pagpapapansin na ang ginawa ko, wala parin!

"Do you think he's going to like it?"
Carmela's forehead immediately creased because of my stupid question. Naningkit pa ang mga mata niya, mukhang may kung anong pagdududa sa rason kung bakit ako ayos na ayos ngayon.
"You invited him?" gulat niyang tanong.
"Yeah. Minsan lang, e."
"Sinabi niya bang pupunta siya?"
I shrugged my shoulder. Nang sinendan ko siya ng invite sa Facebook, isang malaking like lang ang reply niya sa akin. I took that as a yes of course! Hindi niya naman siguro aksidenteng napindot iyon dahil malaking like 'yon, e! He took time to make that like as big as the one he sent me!
"I guess so. He sent a like so that means he's coming, right?"
"Oh my god, Fel! I can't believe you took that like as a yes! Paano kung hindi naman pala sinasadya? You know he's a busy man. Busy with his residency so he probably doesn't have the time to party tonight." Napatayo pa siya sa kama ko at tumayo sa harap ko.
