Chapter 28: The wrong decision

No one's POV:

Daichi and Suga got to the training room and practice was about to start. Nishinoya was helping Asahi stretch when he saw them enter together. "LOVEBIRDS COMING THROUGH" Everyone turned to look at their captain and vice-captain. Suga smiled "Actually, we've decided to be friends for now..." Tsukishima scoffed. "Yeah like that's gonna last" Daichi glared at the blonde. "Tsukishima Kei!" the unbothered boy just shrugged and kept talking to Yamaguchi.

Hinata walked towards Daichi and Suga and he tilted his head to the side in a cute way. "I thought you were boyfriend and boyfriend." Asahi laughed nervously. "Uh Hinata we should talk about something else..." Suga smiled and patted Hinata's head lightly. "No, it's okay. It's just for now." Daichi nodded "Yeah, don't worry, my plans on making Suga my boyfriend hasn't changed." The grey-haired boy blushed and looked away and Tsukishima made one of his salty remarks again:

"I told you, it's not gonna last"

Suga got even redder. Hinata shrugged "Maybe Tsukishima's right" he walked away and Daichi realized practice time had started. "We're not here to talk about our love life. GET ON WITH IT!" Warm-up started with them running a few laps outside and then they got inside again to practice different attacks.

Suga's POV:

Practice was going pretty smooth and I was feeling good, but there was just one little issue. I couldn't stop thinking about Daichi. Just to be clear, the fact that I was the one that suggested to be friends for a while doesn't mean it was going to be easy for me. Quite the opposite actually, after kissing Daichi and getting close to him in a way that I had dreamt of for years, I wanted him more. I now knew how good of a kisser he was, how his lips felt and tasted. I kept replaying the image of him taking off his shirt last night revealing his strong body and the way I was grinding on him. Every time I looked to the side of the court I pictured us there on the floor like we were the night before.

Daichi on the other hand looked like he was calm and put together. He was being the way he usually was, scolding some of the first and second years a few times, and encouraging them too. He was focused and his head was in the game. It didn't seem like it was hard for him to be friends so far, I wasn't sure how to feel about that though... Do I like him more than he likes me? Does he have a bigger effect on me than I have on him?

Daichi's POV:

I knew Suga was having a hard time in practice because he kept missing the ball and his head was just somewhere else. I knew why he was acting like that and to be honest, I really enjoyed it. I've fallen in love with Suga more and more each day and I never stopped thinking about him during practice but I didn't want it to be obvious. The main reason why I agreed to be friends was that I knew he wouldn't last. I knew he'd eventually break and all I had to do was act like I usually do and enjoy the sight of a frustrated Suga.

He thought that the best thing to do was to be friends but I actually disagree. If we were together we'd still be there for each other, the only thing that would change would be the kissing, cuddles, dates and sex. I wanted to make him realize that he made the wrong decision.

When Suga missed one of his sets for the fourth time I walked towards him to help. I made sure to get extra near to his body and I spoke into his ear. He'd always make it obvious that he liked my voice because it was deep so I just took advantage of the situation. "What's going on with you Suga? You never miss like this" I could see him shiver slightly and his cheeks were tinted pink. "Your position is off" I held his hips and moved them slightly to the left. I was right behind him, my body touching every single inch of his from behind in all the right places.

Suga's POV:

Fucking tease.

"I get it now thanks..." He smiled at me and walked away, leaving me a flustered mess. Stupid voice stupid stupid stupid muscles stupid I don't like him at all I'm fine single. When I turned around I saw that Kageyama was staring at me with a confused look. "Suga-San you're red, are you feeling okay?"
I nodded and smiled to reassure him.

No one's POV;

After practice was over, Daichi had called everyone to gather around so he could make an announcement. "Listen up everyone, Asahi, Suga and I thought It'd be a good idea to organize a party on Friday." Everyone's eyes lit up, especially the one's of Hinata, Nishinoya, and Tanaka. There suddenly started to be a lot of talking within the group. "IF YOU DONT LISTEN, I'LL CANCEL IT NOW" everyone stopped talking and waited for Daichi to continue again, no one wanted to get in his bad side, and they really wanted to have the party.

"We thought it would be a good idea to make it a sleepover, so take that into consideration." Suga was really excited, he was looking forward to Friday.
"Oh but we haven't decided where it will be held and that's a problem" Yamaguchi perked up and offered his house. "It's not that big but I think we can all fit in the living room!" The entire team thanked him and training hours were over. Although they were all tired, the announcement of the party boosted their energy and everyone left excited.

Tsukishima's POV:

I was walking with Yamaguchi back from practice to my house and it was already dark outside. He wouldn't stop talking about Friday. "Aren't you excited Tsuki?! It's gonna be fun!" I was looking at the night sky but I then glanced at him for a split second. "I hate parties." He laughed. His laugh is fucking cute and I'm not sure if I like it. "But Tsuki It's gonna be fun." I shrugged and kept walking. "Don't want to go" Yamaguchi sighed and held my arm. "Please come?" He's so pushy...at least it's in his house, I've been there too many times so if I get annoyed or bored from all those idiots (which is likely to happen) I'll just go into his room.

"Okay, you may see me there. Stop insisting so much"

He gave me a huge smile. It's annoying when he smiles like that, it makes me feel weird.

"Gomen Tsuki"
