Kenma was in one of the rooms from the second floor in the house, he wasn't sure who's it was but it was the only option to get away and be alone. Although Kenma was distracted playing his favourite video game, he felt deeply bothered by all the things Kuroo had said to him, and the thing that was getting on his nerves the most was that he didn't even know what any of the things he said meant.

"It's not about believing you have never liked someone or done anything it is what it is Kenma."

"You have never asked-"

"Maybe because I wouldn't like your answer!"

Kenma frowned, he kept replaying their conversation, again and again, not knowing what to make of it, only making his frustration grow. As much as he tried to ignore it, it kept coming back making him feel worse.

"Maybe I wasn't ready to know that you had feelings for someone-."

He was debating whether or not he should head downstairs with the rest of the guys, but that gave him social anxiety. Another thing that was preventing him to go was the fact that it was likely that Kuroo was still sitting on the staircase, which meant he would have to awkwardly walk past him and that was a definite no for him. He would rather die.

That's where they had their last conversation only a few minutes ago, on the stairs. So there was no other option than to be trapped in an unknown room, struggling to stop caring about what had happened earlier. If it was up to him he wouldn't give a single fuck about the conversation he had with Kuroo, but the problem was that he did care.

Yamaguchi was walking slowly and nervously towards the staircase where Kuroo was sitting. He looked stressed about something, pulling at his hair slightly and he looked as if he was thinking deeply about something. The last thing Tadashi wanted was to bother him at a bad time and it seemed like it wasn't a good moment so he turned to Tsukishima who was behind him. "Tsukki...maybe I-I shouldn't-"

The blonde shook his head and he did a movement with his hand as to say 'go on', making the shorter boy sigh and head to the stairs. Kuroo didn't notice the two boys at first until Yamaguchi spoke to him.

"Kuroo Se-" He looked at Tsukishima with a helpless expression, regretting his words already but the boy only gave him a subtle smirk.

"Kuroo Senpai?" Yamaguchi was playing with his sleeves and Kuroo looked up at him. He was very confused, to say the least, but it fed his ego that he had been called 'Senpai'.

"Yeah?"

Yamaguchi felt slightly intimidated, even though Kuroo was only looking at him with a blank expression and showing no signs of being annoyed, he still felt scared. Maybe it was the fact that he was older, or that he was captain of one of the best schools, or just maybe the fact that he's really good looking. He didn't take long to think about it though because he had already taken too long to answer.

"I'm sorry..."

Kuroo raised a brow and turned to look at Tsukishima. What did he make him do this time? "For what?"

Tsukishima shrugged. "I don't know, ask him. For what Yams?"

"F-for assuming things about your love life..."

Kuroo suddenly laughed, making Yamaguchi tense up. "You're such a fucking asshole four-eyes"

"Takes one to know one jerk, where's Kenma?"
