Chapter 11: Terushima

Suga's POV:

I felt  like my heart was going to jump out of my chest at any moment. It was beating so incredibly fast and all I could think of was the shameless situation I was in only a couple of minutes ago. I can't believe I just did that, I can't believe we- I-I he kissed- I was literally- MOANING HIS FUCKING NAME A COUPLE OF MINUTES AGO. And to top it off, I was mortified that one of my precious babies had to see me in that embarrassing state. I hope I didn't traumatize Nishinoya... probably not, Hinata or Yams would've been worse.

I kept walking faster and faster until I got to were the others were in front of the training room entrance. Getting there didn't stop me from pacing around as if my life depended on it though. My cheeks were burning from the embarrassment and my breathing was still uneven from what had just happened. His kisses had left me breathless. What did I just do?!? I didn't even give him time to answer anything I said. I had completely exposed myself and my feelings and I couldn't do anything about it at this moment. I wanted to throw myself off a cliff and then I realized that-

                              everyone was staring.

Nishinoya's POV:

It was awesome.

Seeing the third years losing their shit at the same time was hilarious and it made the day a million times more entertaining. While Asahi was freaking out about the PDA he had just witnessed, Suga san was pacing around like a maniac all while sporting a couple of hickeys on his neck and a blush redder than Nekoma's jerseys. Tsukishima was trying not to burst out laughing and of course Yamaguchi tried not to join in. Kageyama and Hinata were just arguing about what Suga had on his neck. "Suga san got spider bites"oh Hinata...so innocent. "Boke Hinata BOKE, how can you be so stupid". Tanaka and I were in the same boat, having fun and enjoying this moment.

No one's POV:

Daichi returned from were he had been with Suga earlier. It took him a few minutes since he had to compose himself and prepare to go through total embarrassment. He knew nishinoya had probably said something and he was stupid enough to leave marks on Suga's neck. It was going to be a painfully awkward afternoon and match.

There was an obvious awkward space between Suga and him of about 5 meters. They wouldn't look at each other but the tension was there and everyone in the team could feel it. While the whole team waited for the Johzenji High school team, everyone was quiet which was unusual for this crackhead team. Usually, before a match (practice or not) Daichi would be giving a pep talk with the support of Sugawara, him being the vice captain. After a few minutes of contemplating the situation, Daichi being the responsible captain he is decided that personal issues should stay out of the court and that he and the team should do their best to train, as their goal was to win nationals.

So he took a deep breath and called everyone to gather around. "Listen up Karasuno" everyone gathered around him, including Suga, he also knew they had to leave their situations outside of practice and stood next to Daichi as he always did in these moments. It wasn't however, the usual atmosphere they had before matches because no one could take the situation seriously right now. There were a lot of giggles and confusing looks...and Suga had enough. Before Daichi could shut them up Koushi decided to do it. "LETS ADDRESS THE ELEPHANT  IN THE ROOM OKAY? Yes I have hickeys on my neck. YES DAICHI IS TO BLAME. AND YES I AM A HORMONAL TEENAGER. Now that that's out there..." he took a deep breath and smiled, his very Suga-like smile. Soft and warm. "Let's fight like we always do and play as the good team we are".

All while Suga was speaking, Daichi wouldn't stop staring at him with fond eyes. That's my vice captain... After the team stopped giggling and got more into the competitive mood, Daichi decided to join in. "KARASUNO FIGHT!!". Things felt a little more normal now and Johzenji's school bus had now stopped in front of the school.

Ennoshita'a POV:

Everyone in the team were fighting because they wanted to tell this part of the story so Daichi San and Sugawara San decided it would be best for me to narrate it. Once the Johzenji team started walking towards us, coach Ukai and Kiyoko San got out of the training room and stood next to us. In the distance I heard a couple of guys in the other team talking to their captain Terushima about our manager Kiyoko.

"Bruh look at their manager, she's totally hot!!"

"I'm more excited to play now, I can show off and maybe she'll be into me"

I could already tell they were hyperactive, immature and only cared about messing around. But what called out my attention the most was that while the guys were gawking about Kiyoko, Terushima wasn't looking at her.

He was looking at Suga.

"Guys! yeah, the manager's cute but take a look at number 2" he was smirking and something about his expression had a hint of playfulness and it screamed trouble to me.

I had heard rumors about this guy in the past, they basically said that he was known for being a good player...

both in volleyball and with people.
