Tsukishima's POV:

That Terushima guy was an idiot, and he had seriously started to get on my nerves. While we were playing the second set he kept making fun of everyone in the team. I knew for a fact I wasn't the only one getting annoyed though, Tanaka seemed fired up, Nishinoya, The King...but surprisingly Daichi-San looked the most pissed. He's always like the 'pillar' of the team and can handle people like Terushima but this was different. I had never seen him like this, after all he's known for being mentally strong. I usually don't care for fuckers like Johzenji's captain but he crossed the line when Sugawara-San came back from the infirmary.

Terushima's POV:

We were in the second set (we won the first one by the way). It had been pretty fun, pushing some of the buttons of the Karasuno team was a pretty good tactic to win. All I had to do was pick on the weak ones. "Hey Ace, I thought you'd be more impressive, you look like you'd be tough competition but I was wrong", I laughed and their libero was about to throw hands but he got held back by the bald dude. Aah this is exactly the fun I wanted.

A few minutes later, number 2 came back from his passed out stage and into the training room. He looked hotter than before, his cheeks were flushed and his eyes were slightly lidded.
I hadn't realized I got distracted until Karasuno's captain grabbed my attention. "Hey, focus on the match, stop staring at him" I smirked and looked straight into his eyes. "Eyes on the prize. Isn't that what they say?" I hadn't realized four eyes had heard the conversation until he looked at me and said "What the fuck did you just say?" He didn't have to shout or be aggressive, he was being calm and quiet which made it a bit creepy. "Tsukishima let's all keep composure" Daichi was looking at the blonde as to say 'leave it'.

Then I heard someone talking on the right side of the court. "Oi, concentrate on the game, don't get too comfortable your technique is sloppy" their genius setter was kinda intimidating but it didn't really affect me at all, I just smiled at him and brushed it off. "Yeah okay Mr uptight". The short ginger just looked at me and pulled out his tongue. He looked like a kid.

Suga's POV:

There was weird tension in the court, we are usually good at keeping the morale up, especially Daichi. This was a rare situation. I also felt a bit uncomfortable because while there was a bit of arguing between teams, there were a few glances my way. What the hell did I do? I literally just woke up from passing out. Coach Ukai decided to call for a 5 minute break to help the team cool off.

When we all gathered around in a circle, the team started asking how I was feeling and what had happened. I told them I'd tell them later and that It wasn't a big deal at all. Daichi and I exchanged several glances and he looked really worried. "Suga, you need to sit, eat and rest okay?" He reached for my hand but I pulled it away, I didn't want to deal with difficult emotions at the moment or make it seem like we were something when I didn't know in what terms we were. I hugged him instead. My arms wrapped around his neck. I closed my eyes and I whispered in his ear. "Good luck captain". I was blushing and I could tell he relaxed after hearing what I said.

I then turned to the rest of the team.
"Quit messing around, focus and show Johzenji how strong we are" I smiled at them in hopes to boost their mood a little.

"Karasuno, fight!!"

Terushima didn't have his usual confident playful smirk anymore, he looked annoyed and frustrated.

I wanted to make things more interesting.

"Kageyama, would you mind if I play this set?"
