Chapter 33: Shut up

(Play the song when Yamaguchi's POV starts)

No one's POV:

So far everyone was having a good time. While Tsukishima and Suga were in their seven minutes of heaven, the rest of the guys had been messing around and having fun.

The house was really loud to say the least.

Hinata and Kageyama had gotten back from the bathroom by the time Tsukishima and Suga had already finished. The two first years felt overwhelmingly anxious because of the mistake that was made with the papers.

They didn't want to witness an angry Suga, much less if they are the reason for his bad temper. They were lucky though because Nishinoya distracted him as soon as he got to the living room.

He had the biggest smirk on his face. "What did you guys do in there?"

Daichi immediately shut him up and then stood by Suga, wrapping his arm around his waist.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" Nishinoya laughed nervously.

Daichi leaned to the side to whisper at Suga.
"How did it go?" The grey-haired boy smiled softly at his boyfriend to signal to him that things went well.

Everything seemed normal, but Tsukishima was acting different and it didn't even seem like he was paying attention to what anyone was saying. He was distracted, thinking about Yamaguchi and what he should do onwards.

Suga had made him question everything. From his relationship with Tadashi and his feelings to even questioning himself as a person.

Hinata was relieved that Suga seemed happy and that no one was mad at him. He turned to look at Kageyama with a big grin and he rested his hand on his shoulder. "See? Everything went well"

The taller boy gave his friend a fond smile and ignored what he said making Hinata blush and glare at him. "HEY DONT IGNORE ME"

Everyone gathered again in a circle to see who would go next in the game.

Tsukishima was still out of it though. He felt so many emotions and he had no idea what to do with them. He felt regret for being mean to Yamaguchi and pushing him away. He felt a strong urge to let him know how he felt and to tell him that he's sorry, but he, of course, is pretty shitty at doing those kinds of things.

He actually has never had to do anything like that before until now, maybe because he had never wanted. But now, apart from wanting to do it, he felt the need to.

Yamaguchi was the only one that would make him change to good even if it was a little, and it frustrated him a lot.

The blonde was staring into space with a frown on his face and out of all the people in the room, Yamaguchi of course noticed his weird behaviour. Tadashi knew him too well to know he had something on his mind.

"Tsukki?" Yamaguchi whispered and he put his hand on his arm hesitantly. He usually looks unbothered but it looks like something's up...

His gentle voice pulled Kei out of his daydream.
"Yeah?" He was still not looking at his friend.

"Are you okay? Is something on your mind?" There was genuine concern in his voice.

"I'm fine" He eventually looked at Yamaguchi, making eye contact with him. His answer was pretty blunt and simple but Tadashi had expected it to be said in a meaner tone.

Before Yamaguchi could say anything else Tsukishima took his hand.

Yamaguchi's POV;

He's shaking.
