Bokuto's excitement was making his driving more and more reckless as time passed, they were getting closer to Aoba Johsai Highschool and they were all anxious to meet the new guy.

Akashi was looking out the window with a slight frown on his face. He had heard stuff about Tooru Oikawa since he's pretty popular in the volleyball community. He knew he was a really good player and that he used to attend to Kitagawa Daiichi with Karasuno's setter.

Akashi also knew that he had an... interesting personality.

Kuroo wasn't thinking much about Oikawa though, he was thinking about Tsukishima who he hasn't seen since the camp in Tokyo. He wanted to tease him a little because he had heard some rumours about him and their player number 12.

Once they got to Aoba Johsai, they saw Oikawa resting against the wall next to the school's entrance. He looked kinda annoyed from waiting, but he changed his face as soon as he saw them park in front of him. He immediately smiled at the three boys with a charming smile. He looked like an actor because of his good looks but he also seemed fake.

"Yoohoo!"

Bokuto rolled down his window to wave at him. "Hey hey hey!"

Kuroo turned to look at Oikawa "Hey, let's get going"

Akashi was pretty quiet, he only glanced at him for a few seconds and waved quickly which Oikawa didn't notice.

As soon as he got into the car and put on his seatbelt, he checked his hair in his phone. "So are you guys Tobio-Chan's friends?"

Bokuto tilted his head to the side and made eye contact with Akashi through the rearview mirror like he had done earlier.

Akashi knew he was helpless so he helped him out a little. "He's talking about Kageyama, Bokuto-San" His expression remained calm and his eyes on the street.

Bokuto's eyes lit up "Oooh yeah, I knew that! Well everyone in Karasuno is nice but I've mostly talked to Tsukishima and Hinata"

Oikawa didn't make an effort to disguise the disgust in his face. "You think they're all nice?"

Bokuto smiled and nodded quickly. Kuroo shrugged "They're fun to be around but I haven't gotten to know Kageyama that much, mostly Chibi-Chan and Four-eyes."

Oikawa grinned at Kuroo. Mmh I call him that too. "Yeah that makes more sense, Tobio-Chan is pretty bad at talking to people, ask his old team, I'm sure they'll agree"

They kept driving for a few more minutes until Bokuto made a quick turn, which startled Oikawa. And him being as dramatic as he is, he screamed in a pretty high pitched voice. "WE ALMOST DIED! Can I drive instead?!"

Bokuto furrowed his eyebrows, which made him look like a sad puppy. "What do you mean 'we almost died'?"

Oikawa crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at Bokuto. "Yeah you're a pretty bad driver, has no one ever told you that?"

Kuroo smirked at Bokuto and patted his shoulder to 'comfort him' in a teasing way "Don't mind-"

"Fine! If all of you insist I will never drive a car ever again!" He stopped the car and switched places with Oikawa.

Akashi turned to look at Bokuto who was now resting his head on the window. He realized how much his mood had gotten down because of what Tooru said.

I should've seen this coming.

Oikawa started to play some music and the moment he started to drive, the car felt way more smooth on the road and Kuroo looked calmer.
