No one's POV:

Seven minutes in heaven had turned into 30 minutes in heaven. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi had been inside the closet for way too long now and everyone was getting impatient. They didn't want to interrupt though, so the boys had decided to play another game to pass the time.

After some discussing, they ended up choosing truth or dare, so they took an empty bottle and gathered up again in a circle.

"I can spin it" Ennoshita took the bottle, quickly spinning it on the centre of the circle they had formed. Everyone stared at the bottle in anticipation, some hoping to take on a challenge and some wanting to avoid embarrassment.

"Kageyama and Hinata!" Nishinoya spoke rather loudly, startling the other boys that were quietly waiting. The two first years looked at each other at the same time with daring looks.

"Hinata, you ask Kageyama." Daichi laughed, knowing that whatever that was about to come would be funny and eventful.

"Bakakeyama will probably pick truth because he's a coward" Hinata looked at the taller boy with a playful smirk, he really did love teasing his fellow setter.

"What did you just say?!" Kageyama had a scary expression in his face, the face that always made Hinata regret whatever he said before.

"U-uh rela-" He laughed nervously and squealed the moment Kageyama took ahold of his shirt. "Woah! Just because I'm telling the truth doesn't mean you have to be mad!"

Daichi wanted to facepalm. Hinata really wasn't making things any better by saying those things. Suga gave him a look that showed that he was thinking the same thing.

"Shut up boke!" Kageyama eventually stopped pulling at his friend's shirt and suddenly, his glare turned into a smirk. Hinata turned his head to the side in confusion.

"What?"

"Give me the hardest dare you can think of and if I can't do it, then I'm a coward."

Hinata's face grew into a huge smile. "OKAY"

Everyone in the room was looking at each other with an 'It's gonna go down' energy. The tension between the two first years was growing more and more as Hinata thought of a dare, then his face suddenly lit up.

"I got it!" The short boy smirked while reaching up and poking Kageyama's cheek, making him look away harshly.

"Say it already!!" He was getting impatient and he would never admit this out loud but he felt nervous.

Hinata looked pretty pleased with himself with whatever he had come up with.

"I dare you to kiss me"

Kageyama suddenly tensed and looked at Hinata like he was insane.

Suga and Daichi looked at each other with wide eyes and the rest of the team was in very uncomfortable silence. Before Kageyama could say anything, Daichi decided to speak up.

"Hey you don't have to-"

"I'll do it. I'm not a coward." Kageyama looked dead serious now, being as competitive as he is meant he couldn't chicken out.

Colour drained from Hinata's face. He had chosen that dare specifically because he knew for certain that Kageyama would never agree to anything like that. He wanted to make him look like a coward but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

As soon as Kageyama noticed Hinata's mood shift, a sudden air of confidence got to him. "Karma is a bitch" He smirked, the two boys were making intense eye contact. "Now are YOU the coward?"

Hinata's heart was now beating really fast and he felt his hands start to sweat. However, he knew he couldn't make himself look like the idiot now.
"Sh-shut up!" He was gritting his teeth now and his cheeks were red, just like Kageyama's.

There was a moment where the entire room went silent, leaving the two boys in their own little bubble. It got to a point where they were both staring at each other's lips, waiting for one of them to make the first move.

Kageyama swallowed hard and Hinata tried his best to not look away from the intense gaze.

A few long seconds passed before Hinata thought It's now or never. He grabbed a handful of Kageyama's shirt to pull him closer. At that point, they were both blushing furiously.

"H-Hinata boke what are you-"

"What do you think!? I'm doing the d-dare, I'm gonna win."

Kageyama didn't think of this game as a competition (he now knew how it was played) but Hinata's daring tone was all it took for him to want the victory of this so-called game, so he took ahold of Hinata's shirt and pulled him into a kiss.

It didn't last long (for about 5 seconds) but it was enough to make Hinata and Kageyama's world flip upside down. It was enough for them to question things they had never even considered thinking about.

Neither of them knew what to say or how to act.
They just stood there looking at each other.

Suga's POV:

Hey! This is Suga from the future! After discussing with Daichi and thinking for a while I had come to the conclusion that Hinata and Kageyama had always been gay for each other. The problems had been of course: that they were too invested and distracted in volleyball, they are both dense as hell when it comes to relationships and they are still immature 15-year-olds.

Ever since they did the quick attack for the first time, they hadn't been able to spend time apart from the other. They had established a pretty special bond and connection. They spent almost all their time together and it's very possible that they have felt various things around each other that they thought had no explanation: like butterflies or a faster heart rate.

I don't think they even realize how they stare at each other in practice or recess.

Daichi and I were extremely excited back then to say the least.

Excited to be able to witness the start of a cute relationship...

But it was also the start of the worst gay crisis so far, and the root to many problems in the team and outside of it.

But that's for later on in this story.

Buckle up?

*sigh* How many gays and bisexuals are there in Karasuno? We might as well get a rainbow uniform.
