Shinguji pov

The last bell rung and everyone stood up and ran trough the door. I just took my time and watched other people went out until I was alone. When I was alone I stood up and went out trough the school gate.

I was walking home quietly looking around admiring humanity's beauty when i heard yelling.

"WHERE ARE YOU YOU LITTLE SH*T!!!FINE IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA SHOW IP THEN YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HOME AGAIN!!!!..." I heard a rough mans voice call from a alley. I looked towards it and felt bad for the person being yelled at. I shrugged and went on my way.

-time skip to next day-

I woke up by the alarm clock and sighed another day of school. I got ready and went what everyone calls hell.(idk what to write)

-time skip...just time skip-

Again the bell rung and everyone went out of school. And on top of that it was raining.I opened my umbrella and started walking down the path when i heard a crash from an alley 'wasn't that the alley that the man yelled yesterday' My curiosity got the best of me and I went to investigate.

I stepped into an alley and started to look around a little when i heard a mewl. I looked around for the source of the sound when i heard it again. I went deeper into the alley when i spotted an avocado green haired child laying under the piece of cardboard curled up into a ball.

I slowly got closer "hello there little one" his head shot up and he looked at me, a pair of green ears popping out of his head 'so he's a neko interesting. They are pretty rare to spot these days'. The neko scooted back a little "hey there you don't need to be afraid. Im not going to hurt you okay." I slowly said to him.

He relaxed and scooted over a little. I stretched my hand towards him so he can sniff it. When he did he leaned his head into my hand. Then a thunder boomed scaring the poor child letting him curl up in a ball back into a corner "shhhh its going to be okay. If you like you can come with me, yes?" I asked. He opened one of his little eyes. He sniffed little tears coming from his eyes and nodded his head yes. I went to him and picked him up.

I started walking towards my apartment. Soon I came to the building and went inside. I took the elevator and pressed the floor im staying in. I heard a familiar ding meaning im at my floor. I looked at the child and he was fast asleep in my grasp, I smiled under my mask and went to unlock my apartment.

I put the child on the couch covering him with a blanket and went to change myself. When i came out i grabbed a spare shirt for the kid to wear. It was a dark and light blue striped shirt with a compass in the corner. I came back from my room to find the child sitting on a sofa his ears softly twitching. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hello again. How are you felling?" i asked 'this child is like six or seven years old' " i-im better" he soon looked at the shirt i was holding and made a grabby hand probably wanted to get it. "First we will take a shower and then you can wear it, yes?" I said "o-okay sir" "Korekiyo, Korekiyo Shinguji" "kiyo!!" He shouted exited "okay then kiyo it is" i smiled back (he doesn't have a mask) "R-an-t-t-aro" and he pointed at himself "Rantaro. Thats your name, yes?" He nodded and I picked him up and went towards the bathroom.

When we came Rantaro was scooting away from me "hey hey its gonna be okay. It will be a quick wash nothing more and I will be here, yes." He nodded and i took of his ripped shirt and filled the bathtub with warm water i put Rantaro in and started to wash him. After i washed him i dried his hair and put the shirt on him. By the time the storm was already over. Rantaro yawned and i picked him up again. He cuddled up to me and started to purr "hey Taro do you want to eat something?" I asked him. Taro looked at me and went down from my grasp. We went to the kitchen and he pointed at the milk on the counter. I got the signal and grabbed a glass "warm or cold?" I asked "w-warm please" he said his ears falling back "Its okay" i patted his head and he smiled.

I heated the milk and gave it to him. He happily drink it and placed it back on the counter. After that he yawned again. I picked Rantaro up and went to the bedroom i placed him on the mattress and tugged him in. He closed his eyes falling asleep.

I closed the door going to the living room to watch some documentary of animals. I was watching and it soon became boring so i grabbed a book and started reading. I was reading when i heard the door of the bedroom open. I closed the book and went to look, there stood Rantaro, silent tears escaping his eyes. I went to him a put him into a hug. He hugged back and i went back to the bedroom "what happened?" I asked in a low tone "d-daddy *hic* he he *hic**hic* h-hur-t m-m-me" then buried his face into my chest. I held him close and whispered sweet nothings into his ears. After a while i heard soft purrs coming from him. I petted his ears and laid him back down "goodnight" i whispered 'tomorrow im getting adoption papers for him.'
