Kaito pov

My eyes flutter open and a loud groan escaped my lips. I sighed when I felt shuffling on my side, I looked down and saw my girlfriend soundly sleeping. I chuckled and shook her so she can wake up. Her red eyes opened and looked at me. She smiled and got up from bed and I did not so long after.

Maki-roll and I have been dating for two months. Even if it is the killing game we don't care. We dressed ourselves and went out of my dorm. When we were walking we saw, Shuichi and Rantaro-holding hands and walking with each other.(Rantaro didn't die in this timeline).

We came to the dining hall and we sat down. Not so long after Shuichi came but before that Rantaro gave him a kiss on the cheek "good morning sidekick" I greeted him "Ah, good morning Kaito and Maki" he said back and Maki greeting with a 'morning' herself.

After breakfast Maki wanted to do something so I left her be 'thats been going on for a while' i was thinking when i felt something jump on me "HELLO IDIOT-CHANNNN! Nishishi~" oh I know this voice I groaned big time "what do you want Kokichi" I said in annoyed tone "yaaaaay idiot can respond to me!"

I threw Kokichi off me and started chasing him. He wanted to make a turn but he stopped. I ran to him wanted to yell when he put up his hand and pointed towards the hall he wanted to go in. I looked towards it. I was tearing up. What I saw was Maki and Kaede kissing in the hallway. I didn't say anything I steeped back, I looked at Kokichi he was looking at me with a sad expression. I didn't even think I just ran towards the dorms "KAITO WAIT!!!" I hear but I didn't stop, I just ran.

Kokichi pov

"KAITO WAIT!!!!" I shouted after. Thats when Maki and Kaedead looked at me. I put up my glare and shouted "I HOPE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO HIM RIGHT NOW...YOU BROKE HIS HEART BIG TIME!!!!I WAS RIGHT YOU ARE JUST A HEARTLESS BIT*H!!!" I was gasping and ran behind Kaito 'where is he. Where is he.' I stopped. Where would he go...THE DORMS. I started sprinting towards the dorms.

I went to his room and knocked "Kaito? You there?" I heard shuffling but it stopped. I took my pin from my pocket and lock picked Kaito's door, soon I heard a famous click. I stepped in "Hey" I looked at him. Kaito was sitting in the corner crying.

I went to him and knelled down to look at his face, he just looked the other way. I sighed "hey, can you look at me?" I said "she *hic* she was *hic* cheating on *snif* on me." He put his head back into his knees crying louder.

I sighed and went to hug Kaito when he felt that I hugged him, he hugged back immediately and buried his face into my shoulder "listen its gonna be okay. She doesn't understand feelings." I tried to comfort him. He just nuzzled my shoulder more. I started to pet his head running my fingers trough his hair.

"Its gonna be okay." I said 'I love him? Yea I do' he detached and wiped his tears away "yea *snif* you're right." And smiled "theres Momo-chan that I know." I raised my hands into the sky and smiled back at him. "Thanks for cheering me up Kokichi"

Kaito pov
"Thanks for cheering me up Kokichi" I said "anything for my Momo-chan" I laughed 'wait momo-chan!!!' "Kokichi?" "Hmm" he looked at me with curiosity "what do you mean by Momo-chan?" He started sweating "I-I can explain that haha...well you know...I love you" he said the last thing quietly "what can you repeat?" He sighed "I LOVE YOU OKAY! And always have. Thats why I always annoy you. I don't know how to approach you so I started making fun of you. Ya know." He looked at me with the sad smile "You know Kokichi you could just said so. I love you too" I said back "but don't you love Maki" "Yes I DID but you know you were the second crush she confessed so I said yes. But lately I found out that I love you more" I finished and we leaned closer until our lips touched (😝).

I pulled Kokichi closer and we sat there in the corner "hey could you sleep with me today?" I asked "yaaay I will. Nishishi~" he answered.

It was late and we stood up "I gotta take my pj's be right back" I waved and he went out. I'm happy actually to have him.

'Knock knock'

'Hmm who could that be' I went open the door. I opened it "you listen here right now idiot. We are still together for others so I'll sleep here and you will be sleeping on the floor I don't care and if you try to resist I have a knife in my pocket got that." Maki took a knife from a pocket pointing it at me. I started to tear up closing my eyes when "you know threatening my boyfriend in front of a camera is not a quite good idea if I say so myself and that the detective stands beside me with his love is not good to I guess." Kokichi's voice said. He was standing at the door frame with a monopad in his hands and behind him were Shuichi and Rantaro.

"You're gonna pay for this" maki said and launched at Kokichi with a knife. Before she could do anything I pushed her aside and hugged Kokichi. Shuichi and Rantaro took Maki away and I closed the door. After I run to Kokichi putting him back into a hug "thank you" I said "nishishi~ anything for Momo-chan". We dressed into the pajamas and went to bed.

-time skip by telling Kaito a ghost story-

'DING DONG BING BONG! RISE AND SHINE URSINE!'

I heard a morning announcement and sighed deeply. I felt something move under the covers and saw my Kokichi sleeping soundly on the other side of me on my chest 'I defiantly like that better than with Maki' I caressed Kokichi's cheek and his eyes fluttered open and yawned "cute" he looked at me "hmm?" and rubbed his eyes tiredly "you still tired?" He nodded and yawned again. I placed him down again "go and sleep some more we can go to breakfast later okay?" He nodded and went back to sleep. I smiled and went back to take a quick nap myself.
