Kokichi pov

I was walking from the school to my apartment that me and my boyfriend share. The school was a pain I got detention for no reason at all. I mean I just pranked a teacher whats so bad about that?! I sighed and went on 'its freaking cold outside!' It was nearly winter and its becoming colder and colder as the time passes. Well I like winter cause you can snuggle in the blankets and drink hot chocolate but I hate it when I go outside cause its cold.
Soon enough I came to the building with my apartment in. I can pay my rent cause my parents don't need the money they have and they gave it to me simple as that. I went up the elevator and exited it when it came to the third floor. I walked to my apartment door and unlocked it "I'm home Saihara-chan~" I made my entrance to witch I didn't hear a reply.

I went into the living room to find my cute Saihara-chan cuddled in many layers of blankets and his tail swaying left and right at the end of the couch.

Oh I didn't tell you did I well Saihara-chan is a naga. Thats the mythical creature that is half human and half snake. I found him last winter shivering in snow. So as the nice person I am I took him in and from that day on he lives with me. Nagas are so rare to find these day cause they are almost extinct. Shuichi is one of the last ones alive.

It was nearing winter so Shuichi was sleeping a lot more so he doesn't ran out cold. He cant hibernate cause he is still partly human. So he just sleeps a lot more. I changed myself in my...well more like our bedroom. Shuichi always likes to cuddle me. So after I changed I went quietly to the kitchen not to wake my lover.
I made myself some instant ramen and ate it in the kitchen scrolling trough my phone to check for some new instagram followers and to see if there something new on the news.
The new said there will be a huge snowstorm coming and that it would be extra cold 'I'll need to get some more blankets and a heater probably' I noted that and threw away my eaten ramen.

Shuichi was still sleeping. It was 5 pm, so I went towards the couch and shook Shuichi "hey wake up. You wont be able to sleep at night later" He opened his eyes "O-oh you're home Kichi" he yawned. He was wearing one of his hoodies "Are you still cold?" I asked him sitting down. He only replied by sneaking his tail around me and hugging me tightly "mmm you're warm" he whispered and leaned into my shoulder "Do you wanna stay like this?" He nodded and hugged me more tightly. I smiled and started to pet his tail gently, I turned on the tv to watch some random cringe movie that is playing. I went trough channels and found a movie called Zombieland and started to watch it.

The movie was over and Shuichi was shaking I touched his hand an forehead 'sh*t hes freezing' Shuichi climbed off of me in the middle of the movie and forgot to cover himself.
I quickly cover him with a thickest blanket we have and bolted to the bathroom I left the door open if he needed me. I was searching for the special shampoo he uses not to damage his tail skin "K-Kok-ki..." I heard him call I stood up and went over the couch.
I kneeled to his level "c-col-ld" his teeth were trembling together and his while body was freezing "Its gonna be okay I promise. I'm running a warm bath for you okay. Hold on a little longer. Can you do that?" I felt his hand 'he's getting colder' he nodded weakly and I went to prepare his bath so he can use it.
When I was done I ran to Shuichi uncovering him. I saw him started to shiver more violently "Its gonna be okay now. Just hold on and dont pass out okay?" I lifted him up to bring him into the bathtub. When I came I removed his hoodie and slowly lifted him down into the warm water. I sat him agains the bathroom wall and pulled in the water his tail as well.
I was there the whole time hoping he will stop shivering soon and into my relief he did stop "K-kokichi?" He asked and looked around "Thank you" he added when he figured out where he was "anything for my Shumai. Did you warm up?" I rubbed his back while asking "Yeah I'm much better. I wanna go to bed. I'm tired a little" I grabbed one of his XXL hoodies while he dries up. He put on his hoodie that I warmed up and he claimed into our bed and Instantly cuddled into the covers.

I took a quick shower and changed into one of Shuichi's shirts cause he has bigger ones and they are comfy of course.
I exited the bathroom after brushing my teeth. I flicked all the lights off and turned on all the heaters, I locked the door and skipped towards the bedroom. I opened the door and saw Shuichi's head lift up "here" he said and stretched his arms towards me 'hes so cute' his arms were cover by extra long sleeves and he had his sparkling eyes on him. I smiled and closed the bedroom door turning the two heaters on in here as well "yeah I'm coming" I claimed in the bed under the covers. In less than a second Shuichi's tail was tangled with my legs and he was cuddling my chest "Kichi warm" he whispered. I pulled over us one extra blanked so my Succi doesn't freeze at night. After I did that I started to pet Shuichi's head and planting kisses all over his face. He yawned and I knew its bed time now "Lets go to sleep okay" I suggested to witch he replayed by a gentle hum. We shared a kiss on the lips "goodnight Shumai I love you" I whispered "goodnight Kichi I love you too" and soon both of us were fast asleep in each other's arms.
