Shuichi pov

I was walking to school with Rantaro. We were best friend since the first year...today he said he's gonna introduce me to someone cause he say I need more friends.
My only friends are Rantaro Amami, Kaede Akamatsu and Kaito Momota. I don't see the problem with my friend group but he insisted so here we are. "Okay Shuichi I'm gonna introduce him to you at the lunch time okay...I gotta go to class now bye" Rantaro waved and went his way. I smiled and went towards my class.

I stepped in the classroom only to be greeted by Kaito "Morning sidekick! How was your morning?!" He smiled "It was pretty g-great so far" Thats when the bell rang and we had to take a seat.

Rantaro pov
-before the bell rang-

I came into my classroom only to be tackled by one and only Kokichi Ouma "Nishishi~hello Amami-chaaaaan!" He smirked towards me and jumped down "Hey Kokichi I have a surprise for you later" I said and that picked up his attention towards me "what is it telllllll me avocado-man" He whined wanted to know "hehe you're just gonna need to wait till the lunch time okay" he pouted and crossed his arms "hmpf okaaaaay" the bell rung and we took our seats and the class started.

-time skip by something something magic *poof*-

Shuichi pov

I was in cafeteria drinking coffee that I took with me in the morning "hey Shuichi here!" I heard Rantaro call. I turned around and saw the cutes boy I ever saw. I blushed and covered my face with my hand and looked away.
The boy had Hope's Peaks high uniform with a checkered scarf around him, his brown jacked was opened and a checkered schoolbag was thrown over his back. He had a pair of beautiful lilac eyes and a matching purple hair that goes light-purple on the edges, he had milky white skin and on his face was painted a big smile.

"Hello Shuichi are you listening...earth to Shuichi" I shook my head and hid behind my hat not wanting to look at his eyes.

Kokichi pov

I was walking with Rantaro towards the cafeteria to see mu surprise. I cant wait to see it. Before we entered the cafeteria Rantaro stopped "So I'm gonna introduce you to someone okay" he said to me "yaaaay I'll meet a new person!" I cheered. I always like attention.
We entered in "Hey Shuichi here!" He shouted towards that Shuichi guy I looked at the direction that Rantaro was looking to find the most handsome man in the while universe.
He had the academy's uniform just without the brown jacket that was sitting beside him. He had kinda pale skin. On his head was a black hat and under the hat was navy blue hair. His eyes were goldish-grey but I only saw them for a second before he hid behind his hat.

"So I'll leave you two to be" Rantaro said and left the cafeteria "Nishishi~ hello my name is Kokichi Ouma. Nice to meet ya" I stretched out my hand "H-hello I'm Shuichi Saihara" he shook my hand looking back down hiding behind his hat "Were gonna be beat friends Saihara-chan" I announced sitting beside him at the table.

Shuichi pov

Hes actually not that bad of a person. Yes he lies a lot but these are only little white lies to cheer someone up. I was smiling for once. I didn't smile in years "wow Saihara-chan your smile is sooo pretty" Kokichi said his eyes sparkling, I only blushed and his behind my hat.
I soon felt tears come down my cheeks, everyone who befriends me goes away. Kaito and Kaede did that today, they left me cause I had bad depression for a while now and I don't wanna hang out, they didn't know about it tho.

I felt my hat lift up. With my blurry eyes I saw Kokichi looking at me "come on Shuichi lets go. We can talk in my dorm okay" he supported me by my waist the whole time while we walked towards his dorm.
When we came he opened the door and guided me to his bed. I sat on it and broke down hugging myself to restrain myself from cutting "hey hey whats wrong Shuichi" he lifted my head "i-it h-hurts" I choked out "What hurts can you tell me?" I just pointed at my heart and head I think he caught up and grabbed my hands and held them together.
I keep sobbing, tears pouring down my cheeks. The next thing I knew I was pulled into a hug "Shhhhh its gonna be okay. You're doing great" I heard Kokichi say to me "I-It h-hurts" I choked out again "I know it hurts but its gonna be okay".

Kokichi pov

I kept Shuichi close to me telling him comforting words time to time. Hes having an episode of depression. I held his hands together the whole time to restrain him from doing harm to himself. I know how hard is this for him "Can you hear me?" I whispered to him. He nodded weakly "I know we only know each other for couple of hours but I fell deeply in love with you. I love you" I told him "I-I love you too" he said back, I smiled and held him close "Will you be my boyfriend?" I asked him "y-yes" he said back.

I was holding him close while he cried. I know a lot about depression case my mom was a therapist and she told me a lot about it and I read books at home about it.

Shuichi started to scream 'sh*t its worsening' "Shhhh calm down. I know I know it hurts" he screamed again in pain. I held him close running my free hand trough his hair "h-hurts" he sobbed out "I know it does". Don't worry Shu I'm gonna fix you.
I was holding him while he screamed from the inside pain.
After an hour it finally turned only into sniffles and hic's. "K-Kokichi" He whispered out "I'm right here" I said letting go of his hands. I gently cupped his face and kissed him on the lips to witch he kissed back "I love you no matter what okay" I said to him running my thumb over his cheek. He leaned into my hand closing his eyes 'hes probably tired after the episode like that' "I love you too" he whispered back to me.

I put him closer to me and started to put off his jacket. I pulled down his pants and shoes. He leaned his head into my shoulder. I pulled up the sheets and saw that Shuichi had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I petted his head and carefully laid him down on the bed covering him with the covers.
I undressed myself putting on one of my hoodies and some soft socks. I sat on the bed crosslegged and started to run my hand in Shuichi's hair.

After a while I felt Shuichi shift onto my lap. He hugged my waist and his head was on my legs. I snap a quick picture of him and let him sleep there. I kissed the crown of his head and traced my fingers around his face in relaxing motion.
I'm so happy I found him. I swear on my life that I will protect him.
