Shuichi pov

Beep beeep beep beep

"Hes awake!" I heard voices and my eyes opened. The light hit them and It burned, I closed my eyes again. I tried to move but my whole body hurt "kiddo hey kid!" I heard a familiar voice, I opened my eyes again everything was blurry but I saw a blue patch "u-uncle..." I held up my hand even tho it hurts. My eyes were closing and opening "its me kid..." I felt him grab my hand "its gonna be okay now, your out of there" he petted my hair.

I felt my eyes started to close "n-no..." I held my uncles hand tighter "its okay kid, rest...we'll take care of you" and at that my eyes closed...

George pov

"Let me in!" I yelled as soon as I heard the doctors say that hes awake. My nephew is in there and I'm not backing down. They let me in and I ran to his side.

"Kiddo hey kid!" I said loudly but hushed enough. I saw him open his eyes 'thank god' "u-uncle..." he reached for me "its me kid..." I grabbed his hand and held it in mine. He was breathing hard and it seemed that he was in pain. I started to per his hair gently "its gonna be okay now...your out of there" his eyes started to flutter "n-no..." he grabbed my hand tighter, I knew he was scared "its okay kid, rest...we'll take care of you" and at that he fell unconscious.

I walked with the doctors "so whats the plan" I got to know the doctors here through two years of visiting Shuichi "well as far as it shows he has major injuries on his legs, he probably wont be able to walk on his own. If he gets worse of being scared and having flashbacks therapy will be included into the box...we'll have to see more when he wakes up again" I nodded and sighed "he's gonna be okay" the doctor petted me on my shoulder "yeah I hope so too...please tell me when he wakes up" he nodded and I went back home, I knew Shhichi changed.

He didn't have this psychotic look on his face anymore when he woke ip and didn't smile at his pain.
I went to his room and teared down all the posters and changed everything into a normal teenagers bedroom. I cleaned everything up and put all his danganronpa sh*t in the trash. I smiled at the new made room. I grabbed some of his normal clothes and packet it into a backpack.

I went downstairs and placed the bag down and turned on the TV...

George pov

I was driving towards the hospital. Shuichi woke ip calling for me to come there. He refuses to be touched or anything until I came there.

I exited the car and ran up to Shuichis room. When I came I knocked, they opened the door and let me in.

Shuichi was on the bed crying and calling me. I went to his side "I'm here Shu, hey kid" I said and he looked at me "u-uncle!" I put him into a hug "Breathe Shuichi" I told him and he started to calm down as he felt my embrace "shhhh its okay kiddo, I'm here" I told him and kissed his head.

The doctors looked at me "agh!" Shuichi gripped my shirt tighter "please mr. Saihara, held Shuichi. We are gonna examine his legs" I nodded and hushed Shuichi. He was breathing fast again "calm down, its okay, I'm here. They are trying to help you" I told him and petted his hair more.
As the doctors finished, he calmed down more "he'll have to walk with crutches for a while. His legs wont held his body" they told me and I nodded.

"When will he be discharged?" I asked them while Shuichi was still gripping my shirt like a lifeline "if lucky maybe in three days" they told me and I nodded "thank you" I told them, they nodded "we will left you two alone" they said and left.

I smiled "would you let me see you after two years?" I asked jokingly, its a test. If Shuichi is the one I know he will shove me away and tried to get away from me. If he is different as they say...we'll see.

"B-but you already saw me" he laughed a little. I smiled as well. He pulled away from me a little but still held my shirt "I'm sorry...I just..." he sighed and I ruffled his hair "h-hey!" He laughed and smiled and that the first time I saw him smile genuinely "you dont know how scared I was" I told him and hugged him "I was scared too, I dont wanna go back there" He said and buried himself back into me. I held him close "thats the first time you opened up you know?" I told him and he nodded and cuddled up "I wanna go home" I petted his hair softly "I know, in three day and them we'll go home" he nodded and then I felt him doze off "sleep well Shuichi".

-time skip by a week by me-
George pov

I was cooking lunch today. They gave me some free weeks or work at home so I can take care of Shuichi.

"Uncle?" I saw him standing there wobbling with his crutches "what are you doing up? You should rest as much as you can" He wobbled to my side "I'll help" I smiled at him "come on, go test or at least sit down Shuichi" I told him "I-I cant just sit down as you work, you took days off for me...at least let me help" I know I dont do that but, I picked him up on my side "listen Shuichi, you are my nephew and you deserve all of it" I told him.

"I know but I feel so bad" I felt my shirt dampen "dont cry kid" he gripped me tighter "you were always there for me, you never left like my parents...you...you are like a dad to me...I cant thank you enough..." I started to walk upstairs, Shuichi was slowly falling asleep in my arms.

I really feel bad for him and what happened, I know that he wanted be in it.

I felt Shuichi go limp in my arms. I went into his bedroom and placed him down on the bed...I placed the crutches near his bed and unhooked his hands from my neck. I covered him up and turned off the lights.

I went towards the door "goodnight Shuichi" I said and closed the door.
