3rd pov

Shuichi fell on his knees griping the podium and crying. Out of the exisal came one and only Kaito Momota, but Shuichi wasn't crying tears of joy...these were tears of sadness. He started to sobbing louder, knowing Kokichi isn't alive anymore.

He regrets saying these eight words...

You're alone Kokichi, and you always will be.

Everyone looked at him shocked for why is he crying, they tried to comfort him but no words came and touched him to feel a little bit of comfort.
Monokuma started the voting and executed Kaito as Kokichi's killer.

As soon as the execution ended Shuichi ran out of the room and ran away. Others shouted after him, but Shuichi didn't stop. He ran and ran until he tripped over some damn root. Thats when Maki caught up to him "Shuichi..." she tried but he only cried harder repeating 'sorry' over and over.
Maki put her hand on his back to at least try to calm him down, but it didn't work "Shuichi...whats wrong?" Maki hesitantly asked, but only more tears and broken cries came as a reply.

Shuichi never in his life felt so much despair.

He was still crying on the grass filled ground now joined by Himiko, Kiibo and Tsumugi. They tried and tried to calm him down every time they said it will be alright, Shuichi only cried harder.
After quite a while Monokuma popped out of the corner with his paws behind his back. Everyone looked at him with a glare except for Shuichi he...didn't even look up "ehem" Monokuma faked coughed into his paw "I have something for our detective here".Shuichi looked up and saw a very familiar checkered scarf in the paws of Monokuma. His arm extended trying to grab the scarf, only to be placed in his hands. Shuichi clutched the scarf closer to his chest crying louder.
Thats when everyones eyes widen. Shuichi wasn't crying cause of Kaito, no he was crying cause of Kokichi. They all looked at each other with sad eyes.

Now everyone was in the hallway in complete silence except for cries from Shuichi. Nobody knew how to comfort him or calm him down. Until they heard a 'thud' they all looked up to find Shuichi in the middle of the hallway now laying on his side holding the scarf tightly. Everyone felt bad for Shuichi "I'm sorry" it was faint but everyone heard. That 'sorry' came from Shuichi "I'm sorry Kichi. I-I didn't me-mean to" his lips quivered. He was apologizing to him, he kept repeating it until they heard nothing more. Maki looked up and saw that Shuichi cried himself to sleep.

Maki pov

I stood up and went to Shuichi's side "whats going on between you two" I asked more to myself cause clearly something wasn't right. Shuichi never cried after execution that hard. I sighed and picked him up "guys lets go. Nighttime will soon start" they all nodded and we all went towards the dorms.
I carried Shuichi towards his dorm and laid him down on his bed. I covered him and tried to take the scarf away, he only gripped it tighter whimpering "n-no" I looked at him and he woke up "pl-please n-no" he whispered and held the scarf.
I sighed the question must be asked "whats wrong Shuichi? Whats going on?" I asked. Shuichi's eyes watered "Kichi...I-I want Kichi" he whimpered out crying again "I get that you want him...but why?" I asked "l-lover" was his only word and I understood immediately.

Kokichi was...

Shuichi's boyfriend...

And he died...

We all thought that Kokichi was alive. But then we figured out that he is actually dead "I'm sorry" I said and stood up walking out of his dorm.

Kokichi pov

I sighed 'the class trial is over'. I climbed out from the vent and dusted my uniform. I looked at the hydraulic press and shivered.

You thought I would really sacrifice myself...I have a loved one to have future with don't I!?! I cant just die.
Ya know the thing is. I asked Miu before she died to make a robot replica of me, so my plan would work. I guess it didn't. Stupid Kaito he probably revealed himself.

I sighed annoyed and made my way out of the hangar. I was casually walking around "W-wha-!?" I turned around and saw Monokuma "oh hey nishishi~" I laughed "how are you still alive?!" He screamed at me "well I didn't die thats how" I said and went towards the dorms.
I came there and went towards my room but stopped, quiet cries could be heard from the specific room. My eyes softened and went there instead, I stood in front of my beloveds door and knocked three times. I waited until I heard "o-open" it was raspy and soft.

I opened the door and saw my beloved laying in the bed turned opposite from the door. I went in and closed the door behind me. I sat on the bed and heard cries and bunch of broken 'I'm sorry' I laid down and pulled him closer "shhhh beloved its fine. I forgive you. I know you were mad. shhhh" then his body froze.
I felt him started to tremble and turn around in a second "Kichi!" He cried out and buried himself into my chest. He kept repeating my name over and over. I smiled "I'm here now my beloved. Its okay shhhh". shuichi cried harder into my chest, to witch I only held him closer and put my head into his hair "its okay shhhh. Calm down" I started to rock us left and right slowly.

Soon enough his cries stopped and saw my Shumai sleeping holding my close. Then I saw my scarf "I'm sorry I had to put you trough this" I whispered into his ear. He snuggled closer and sleepily said "its okay. Y-you are h-here now" I let the scarf be in his hands and I put the covers over the both of us "goodnight my beloved...I love you so so much" I kissed his forehead and I heard a faint 'I love you too' before the sleep came and took us away.

Nishishi~ thought it was the end. I never write complete angst for me...only if its a request.
