Shuichi pov

I was at my office working on a case. The case was about a murder that happened in a store...but the fact is the killer is always the same...every time he kills he leaves a massage 'down with the bloody eye' to witch I still don't know what it means. I sighed and closed the file for now, the clock read 10:30 pm 'I should go down'.(he works at home)

I came downstairs to find out that in fact Kokichi was not home yet, that got me worried and made my brain think of every possibility of what could happen.
I was nervously walking around the kitchen trying to come up with good endings to no success 'okay...deep breath...think everything trough' first Kaito will come any minute hime now cause he has a job but Kokichi...Kokichi he...was with D.I.C.E. the last time I heard from him.
I sat down at the table thinking back...again. I heard the door click softly 'Kaito's home' I stood up and went "hello Kaito" he looked at me "What are you doing awake hot-stuff?" He put me into hug and I melted into it "Kokichi's not home yet and I'm worried" his eyes widen "w-what? What do you mean hes not home? I should be last...the last to come home" Kaito let go of the hug and grabbed my shoulders.
"Do you have any ideas where he is?!" I shook my head no and looked down...

Kaito pov

'Fu*k' Shuichi looked down and I quickly wrapped him into a hug picking him up and taking him on the couch. I sat us both down with him on my lap "don't worry. We'll find him, I'm sure of it" I was rubbing his back when Shuichi's phone went off. He looked at me and picked up his phone...the one calling was Kokichi "Kokichi where are you?!" Shuichi said in the phone. The only thing heard from the phone were some muffled sounds and sirens.

Soon enough Shuichi hung up. He was pale, so I pulled him closer to my chest "Whats wrong?" I slowly asked and that when a sob was heard from Shuichi, his grip on me tightened "he-hes going into a h-hospital" Shuichi whispered "Wh-what?" I stuttered out "Hes not o-okay Kaito?" He said again.

My mind didn't even think. I picked Shuichi up and brought him into the car, I went back into the house and took mine and Shuichi's jacket, put on my shoes and took Shuichi's. I came to the car and put Shuichi's stuff on his lap "Kaito where a-are we going?" I drove off "we are going into the hospital" I said back looking at the road.

Soon enough we came into the hospital, the nurse at the counter spotted us "a-ah, can I help you?" I stepped towards her "we're here for Kokichi Ouma" she looked at the computer "hes in the surgery...you'll have to wait...I'll tell the doctors that you are here for him" and she left. We sat down and Shuichi put his head on my side hugging me "I-is he going to survive?" It was very faint but I could hear it "this time Shuichi...I don't know. We can hope". I rubbed his shoulder "close your eyes, I'll be awake" he just nodded and fell asleep...

Shuichi pov

I felt a hand shaking me. I opened my eyes "hey we can go see him" I woke up by hearing that, my limbs stretched and a yawn escaped me.

The nurse lead us to the room and opened the door. We stepped in and there he was he had a countless machines hooked onto him. I stepped closer sitting at his bedside, grabbing his hand and squeezing it softly.
Kaito sat down too and moved away his hair, thats when the doctor came in "ah, I see you're here...well then I have some bad and good news. Witch one do you wanna hear first?" I looked at Kaito and he spoke "bad ones" the doctor gave us a sad look "Well then hes in coma...we don't know when he will wake up, the good ones were that he will survive and that the surgery went well. I'll leave you two to it then" and he exited the room.
