Nagito pov

I just walked out of my cottage to get some breakfast. I locked my door and went over to the cafeteria. I was walking down the path kicking a rock time to time until I tripped.
I fell face first on the ground "*sigh* just my luck huh" I decided that the ground was the right place for trash like me...until I fell someone tap me on the shoulder "mister are you okay?" a tiny voice asked 'okay that is not monomi so who...?' I looked up to see...a tiny Hajime? "ummm yeah I'm okay, I just tripped" I smiled then stood up and brushed the dust off my pants and shirt.
"mister?" I looked at him "yeah what is it?" Little Hajime looked around nervously "I'm a little hungry...do you k ow where to get food?" He asked "Yeah I do...I was just going there wanna go with me?" He nodded happily and grabbed my hand in his "okay lets go".

soon enough we came to the building and entered it. We stepped trough the door "Hello" I waved with my free hand to the others "Nagito I didn't know you had a kid" Kazuichi said that walked from the kitchen with a full plate of waffles "Oh no you got it all wrong trash like me could-" I was cut off by the tug on my jacket "Mister don't speak like that...please" little Hajime said "a-ah okay sorry" I apologized and he smiled.
"Anyway this kid is actually Hinata-kun. I found him on my way to the cafeteria" I said and the whole dining room became a zoo, word were flying around like 'WHAT?!' and 'OMG!' and 'WHAT A HELL?!' and so on...and soon a very very loud argument bursted out.

I felt a hand detach from me "Hinata-kun?" I looked around searching for a six year old when I spotted him in the corner of the room with his hands covering his ears. I make my self towards him kneeling down "Are you okay?" I asked "p-please t-too l-loud" My face was full on concerned now so I took off my jacked at wrapped it around him and picked him up holding him against my chest so one of his ears was covered by my chest and the other one was covered by my hand.
I put my hand down from his ears for a second "I'm gonna shout okay...so they would stop. Can I do that?" He nodded and I covered back his ear "EVERYONE STOP!!" I shouted and everybody looked at me "Hinata-kun is scared and you are making it worse" I said holding Hajime close to me.

Everyone put their heads down in shame for scaring a little kid "You can look now, its over" Hajime opened one of his olive-green eyes and perked from my chest "hey mister whats your name?" He asked while I was walking towards the table "sorry I'm Nagito Komaeda" I introduced myself "Na...Nagi!!" He cheered throwing his hands in the air 'okay then Nagi for him'.
I sat him down and went into the kitchen to get some waffles for him. I put them on and put on the maple sirup as well.
When I came out I saw Mahiru showing Hajime some pictures that we took while here. I placed the plate in front of him and we he saw it his eyes sparkled and started to eat his pancakes. I sat down "I think Nagito should take care of him" Sonia and Mahiru said "huh trash like me should not do that...I could bring bad luck to him and-" I was cut off again "I want Nagi to take care of me" little Hajime said climbing into my lap "oh okay then" I hesitantly said.

-time skip by the sand in sdr2-

We exited the cafeteria after hanging out there "Hey Hinata-kun wanna swim?" He looked at me with happy eyes and a smile "yaaaaaay swimming" he started to run and I chased after him. I was huffing and leaning on the palm tree "Nagito!" I heard Monomi say "Hello...Miss Monomi" now that I look Hajime was behind her "I found Hajime for you" She smiled "Can I ask...how did he turned out like...this?" I asked "Well i was practicing magic and accidentally hit him. I-I'm very sorry I should have told everyone" She apologized "and clothes for him are in you cottage okay Nagito" and she disappeared.

I looked at Hajime "don't run off like that. I was scared" I said picking him up "Sowy Nagi" I smiled and took us to my cottage "still wanna ho swimming?" I asked while still walking "no I don't fell like it now. Sowy" He said looking at me "haha its okay. What do you wanna do then?" I asked while fixing him up in my grip "I wanna...I wanna be with Nagi in house" I smiled and petted his head "okay then. We will hang out in my house is that okay?" He went down "yes hihi" he grabbed my hand and we walked towards the cottages.

We came and I unlocked my 'house' like Hajime likes to say it "yaaaay" Hajime ran in and jumped on the bed sitting crosslegged on it "Nagi I wanna sleep" I smiled, It was pretty late "okay then so first we are going to take a shower before sleeping okay" He nodded and I gave him his pj's and he skipped into the bathroom but before he went in "Do you need any help?" I asked picking up my pj's "Nope" he said and went in.
He soon came out and it was my turn. I quickly showered and dressed into the pj's aka an oversized shirt.

"Okay I'm out...wanna go to bed now" I said climbing under the covers. Soon Hajime joined me in the bed. I laid down and he followed soon "goodnight Hajime" I said and closed my eyes "night night my Nagi" I turned around and hugged him and soon the we were consumed by sleep.
