Y/n POV:

After breakfast everyone went off to do their own things. The maid took all of our plates to the kitchen and began cleaning them. Kate went to the grocery store. Miles honestly I didn't know what he was doing, but he went to his room and told me to not bother him. He told me I'd be breaking guidline three if I didn't stay out.

Flora was sitting at the table playing dolls and I just watched her. She played and all her dolls had weird names. I couldn't help but wonder where the fuck she came up with these names. I then had an idea. If I got Flora to show me around the property I would then have an easier time escaping.

"Hey Flora." I said in a kind voice. She looked up from her glass dolls and smiled.

"Yes, y/n." She answered.

"Wanna show me around?" I asked her with a smile.

"Sure, but hasn't Miles already done that?" She questioned me and it made me realize how smart she was.

"Well, yes. But we could play an exploring game." I said with a smile. I was clearly trying to save my ass. I didn't want her to tell Miles that I hadn't see around the property, because he would know what I was really up to.

"Ok sure. But don't tell Miles. He dosent like it when I play exploring with his friends." She explained. She had a little smile that was adorable. She got up out of her chair and left her dolls on the table. She grabbed my hand and helped me out of my seat. We then left house and went outside. The property was huge. Their was a nice stone wall that blocked us off from the world.

"Where should we go first?" I asked her. She shook her head then grabbed my hand. She ended up showing me a hot tub and told me about how Miles and his last girl played in the hot tub a lot. I got more curious about this other girl. Flora mentioned the other girl multiple times while she showed me around. I wondered if she was kidnapped too, and what happened to her.

"This is where you can come and leave." She said with a smile. "You probally already knew that though." She told me with a small laugh. We began to walk back inside the house when I stopped her.

"Flora? Who is the other girl you keep talking about?" I asked her. Her smile went away then she leaned close to my ear.

"Miles dosent like to talk about her. She was really nice, but one day she went away." Flora seamed sad telling me this. She then pulled away from my ear and went inside the house. I wondered if this girl was ok.

I didn't want to go inside, so I went to the grass area that Flora had showed me earleir. I sat in the grass and enjoyed the flowers that were around me. I stayed there almost all day. I headed back twards Miles house after the sunset. I realized that Kate was home now, and it was almost dinner time.

I walked into the house and saw the empty living room. I then walked into the kitchen and saw the maid, Josephine making dinner. She was making noodles. I then walked up the stairs and opened miles door. I walked into his room and closed the door behind me. There was no lights on and it was dark.

Then a light clicked on and I jumped out of my skin. Miles was sitting on the bed staring at me. He looked pissed. He then walked over to me and Flicked on the other light switch. I honestly was terrified.

"Where were you?!" He asked me in an annoyed voice.

"Went looking around. I went to the grass area with the flowers." I told Miles.

"Why did you ask Flora about the girl?" Miles questioned. He was clearly angry.

"She kept mentioning some other girl and I got curious." I explained.

"Haven't you ever heard curiosity killed the cat?" He asked me in are you dumb voice. "Anyways, I don't want you leaveing the house anymore. You must stay inside at all times." Miles told me.

"Why?" I asked. He looked at me.

"Are you questioning my authority?" Miles asked me. I was so angry and confused. I knew nothing! And it's almost Thanksgiving and I may never see Kobi or my mother again!

"Yes! Because you don't tell me shit!" I yelled out! I realized I fucked up when Miles slapped my cheek. I didn't even grab my face. It didn't hurt. He honestly couldn't hit for anything. I was pissed off and slapped him right back! I noticed the anger in his eyes!

"That's it I'm done with your shit!" Miles yelled out. "Your broken and no one wants you! I'm tired of dealing with you!" He said as he grabbed my arm and dragged  my into his closet. He then locked me in the dark closet and left the room.
