Miles pov:
When breakfast was called I got out of bed and walked to the mess haul. After waiting in line for some over cooked oatmeal I walked over to a table to sit at. As I passed passed many people, I saw her. In a crowd. The love of my life, the cause of all my failure, my torture; it was Y/n.
However she didn't look much like y/n at all. She was drugged off her rocker. She was very pale and skinner than ever. I watched her sit down with her tray and she moved the oatmeal around in the bowl. Not once did she bring the spoon to her mouth. I sighed and walked over to her and plopped my trey across from hers. Then I sat down. She didn't look up, she was almost out of it.
"Y/n?" I whispered. She looked up and her eyes went wide.
"You're real?" She asked. I felt a wave of desperation hit me.
"Yes I'm real." I replied as I studied her.
"I thought I was dead." She said blankly.
"I thought you were too." I said concerned.
"Why didn't you love me?" She cried.
"I-I did." I stuttered.
"No you didn't! I've been so lonely for months!" She shouted at me.
"Im so sorry y/n. Im sorry for everything." I stammered.
"I just wanted to be loved, but you and Raya had other plans!" She raised her voice again.
"I didn't mean to hurt you. I was messed up back then." I tried to defend my actions.
"Weren't we all?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Hm." I chuckled.
"This place isn't what you think." She leaned close. "Meet me after lights out in the hall. Don't get caught tho." She mumbled. I nodded my head yes to show I understood. The truth was that I couldn't tell if it was the meds making her act this way, or what it was. She was off tho.
