—in someway you fixed me, but also broke me—
Y/n POV:

I sat on Miles bed and watched the sunset. The house was warm since the heater was still on. Miles walked out of the bathroom and into his room and noticed me watching out the window.

"What are you doing?" Miles asked in an alarmed voice.

"Just watching the sunset." I replied.

"Oh. Ok." Miles said. He then sat next to me on the edge of the bed. We both looked out the window. Miles turned to face me then looked back out the window. He put his hand on my hand and we intertwined our fingers. I knew I was in love with Miles. Did I only feel this way, because I was just as mentally disturbed as he was? I wondered.

"Miles?" I asked. He turned to look at me again. Our eyes met and I got lost in them. They were deep pools of dark brown chocolate.

"Yes?" He answered, as he broke the eye contact.

"Umm....shouldn't we get ready?" I questioned. I was really excited to go on an actual date.

"Yes. Your dress is in the closet next to my tux." Miles smiled. I nodded then got off the bed and opened the walk in closet door. I walked into the closet and saw the dress on a hanger. It was beautiful.

"Are you changed?" Miles asked

"Are you changed?" Miles asked. He walked into the closet with one hand cover his eyes.

"Im still changing." I said as I took off my pajama pants and shirt. I then slipped the dress on. "Can you zip me up?" I asked Miles. He then removed his hand from his eyes. He zipped me up and I turned to face him.

"You look beautiful." He complimented.

"Thank you." I replied.

"Now for your shoes here are some black flats." Miles handed me the simple black flats. I thought it was strange that he didn't give me heels. I thought maybe it was because were both 15, and he thought heels were dangerous. I honestly had no idea why he didn't let me wear heals to our dinner date.

Miles changed as I sat on the edge of the bed and looked out the window. He walked out in a black tux with a white button up shirt. He had black flat slip on shoes.

"You ready to go? The limo is outside." Miles said as he placed his hand out in front of me. I grabbed it and he helped me off the bed. He held my hand and we walked down the stairs. We both got into the limo and the driver began driving.

The driver stopped at a small diner. The driver opened the door for Miles and me. We both got out and Miles held my hand. We walked into the diner and Miles walked up to a man in a tux who had a news paper covering his face. At that moment I realized this wasn't a date for just us.

"Y/n, sit next to me." Miles commanded. I obeyed because I wasn't trying to get slapped again. I've been abused enough to last a lifetime.

"Y/n?" The man questioned. He then put his news paper down that was covering his face. To my shock I knew this man!

"Dad?" I questioned. "I-I thought you were dead. Wait Miles was saying the truth?!" I was in shock.

"Do you have the money?" Miles raised an eyebrow.

"Yes here it is." My father told Miles as he passed him the briefcase. Miles opened up the case and there was a lot of money in there.

"Where is the rest of it?" Miles was angry as he asked that.

"I don't have it all yet, but I'll get it back to you." My father sounded reasonable.

"Yeah right! You'll run and I'll never get my money back!" Mikes shook his head.

"Look we made a deal I did my part-" my father began.

"No! You only did half! The deals off!" Miles interrupted.

"Just let y/n go!" My father commanded.

"No, not until you get all my money back!" Miles raised his voice.

"She doesn't have anything to do with this!" My father cried out.

"You care about her. So she does!" Miles said in an asshole tone.

"Please, let her go!" My father begged!

"Once I have all money she will be free." Miles glared. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I was hurt and angry.

"Y/n." My father said. I looked up at him. "run." He whispered. I went to stand up and listen to my father, but Miles grabbed ahold of my arm.

"Nice try princess!" Miles laughed. "Get me the money or she gets it!" Miles spat. Miles then grabbed out a pocket knife and put it to my throat. The cold metal blade touched my warm neck. The diner was basically empty and the only lady who was working didn't even come over to us. She must of been used to this type of thing happening!

"Miles, please don't." I begged. He looked at me in the eyes for a minute and he looked weak! He then looked away from me and back at my father.

"I'll have the money for you in two days. Just don't hurt her!" My father begged. Miles glared at my father and he looked evil. I felt the cold blade move on my neck, but then Miles let go of it and put the knife in his pocket.

"You better! Or she dies!" Miles whispered. Miles then grabbed me by the arm tightly. I yelled and kicked, but no one stopped him. Miles threw me into the limo and he got in too. The driver began driving us home.

Most of the ride was quiet. Miles looked down at his shoes while I looked out the window. I didn't know who I fell in love with, but the man who just threatened to kill me wasn't him. I was terrified to look at Miles, but I worked up the courage.

"Your really gonna kill me aren't you?" I asked. Miles looked at me.

"No, I just needed you to believe I would. So your father would think I actually would." Miles explained.

"Why wouldn't you kill me then? You had no problem killing Leslie." I was angry as I said this.

"Because I love you." Miles told me.

"I-I." I didn't know what to say. The psycho just said he loved me. Like half an hour after saying he would kill me.

"I wasn't going to cut you, I'd never do that to you." Miles said wiping his tears away.

"Are you crying?" I asked astonishedly.

"I don't want to think that I could loose you, because an empty threat." Miles explained. I felt bad and I realized I was mentally ill. I kissed Miles.

"Your not gonna loose me for being determined to get back what's yours." I promised. Miles smiled at me and then kissed me back.

The limo stopped and we got out. Miles unlocked the house and we went inside. We went to his bedroom and I got in the shower. Miles changed into pajamas and went to bed.

While I was in the shower I realized how hungry I was since we never actually ordered food. I took a deep breath and tried to relax. Once I got out of the shower I moisturized and changed into pajamas. I got into Miles bed and layed next to him. I closed my eyes and Miles put his arm around me gently. I fell asleep and felt safe for some odd reason.
