Two Years Later
October 30th
Today was our wedding and believe me I am having a full-blown nervous breakdown. We were having it held outside in a small, secluded garden that was near the countryside.
"I am freaking out!" I complained for the tenth time this morning.
''Chill out, dude,'' Balz said, patting my back. ''Everything is going to be fine.''
''What if something happens, like a divorce or something? What if I end up being a terrible husband? Or-''
''Alright! Where's his tie, shut him up.'' Ricky laughed.
''Calm down and just breath,'' Balz said, gripping my shoulders. I closed my eyes and let out a few breaths. ''Better?''
''A little.''
''It'll pass.'' Ghost said, fixing his tie.
There was a knock at the door and I opened it to see my mom standing there.
''Mom? Shouldn't you be with the girls?"
''We were until Sabrina disappeared.''
''WHAT?! Where?! Why?!''
''She was fine on the drive up here and then she started freaking out. We don't know where she went off, Kylie and Allie are looking for her.''
''Let me see if I can find her.'' I sighed, walking out of my tent. I walked all around the property we rented out for our wedding. "Dammit, it's going to take forever to find her out here.''
Suddenly, I saw someone in a white dress sitting on a concrete bench underneath a willow tree and I sighed out of relief.
''Sabrina,'' I said, walking up to her.
''Go away.''
''Why did you run off? You had me scared to death.'' I said, sitting next to her.
''I don't want to be a bad wife or mother. I'm going to mess up this whole marriage.'' She sighed.
''Stop it, you will not. You're a great mother to Mason and Cassidee and you're going to be a great wife.'' I smiled.
''You think so?"
''I know so. Now can we please get married?"
''Okay, I'll be the one in the veil down in front.'' She laughed.
''Then it's a date.'' We stood up and walked back, going our separate ways to our tents.
''Did you find her?" Ricky asked once I walked in.
''Yes now let's get this show on the road.''
********************************************
I could feel my heart in my throat as everyone walked down the aisle. I can't believe I'm getting married. Ryan and Allie were the last ones to reach where we were standing. I heard the music change and I tensed up.
''Relax,'' Ricky whispered.
I nodded my head and watched as Sabrina slowly took one step at a time. She reached the end and everyone sat down, the music stopping.
''Who gives this woman to this man in marriage?" The priest asked.
''I do.'' Her dad said, letting go of her arm and sitting next to her mom. She stepped forward and faced me. I smiled at Sabrina and she smiled back.
''Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the joining of Sabrina and Christopher in marriage. With love and commitment, they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife."
**************************
After a while, it was time for our vows and Sabrina went first.
''Chris, I love you so much. I've known you were the one for me for the longest time and I couldn't love anyone else the way I love you. We have a perfect family together and I can't wait to make so many memories with you, Cassidee and Mason. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.'' She said, tears rolling down her cheeks.
I smiled and took a deep breath, looking at Sabrina.
''I can't imagine a life without you. I love you with all my heart and you are the most perfect human being in the world. Before I met you, everything was hell and messed up. We went through so much together, but we never caved in or gave up. You gave me a beautiful son and you're doing a fantastic job with raising Cassidee. I look forward to the years to come that we will be together. I love you so much.''
"Can we have the rings?'' The priest asked. Braxton and Milo stepped up, each holding a pillow with one ring on each. Milo was standing next to me with Sabrina's ring and Braxton was standing next to Sabrina with mine. They handed us the rings and then stepped back down.
''I, Christopher, give you, Sabrina, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you,'' I said, sliding the ring onto her finger.
''I, Sabrina, give you, Christopher, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you.'' She said, sliding the ring onto my finger.
''Do you, Christopher, take Sabrina to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?''
''I do.''
''Do you, Sabrina, take Christopher to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?''
''I do.''
''And now, by the power vested in me and by the State of Pennsylvania, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.''
I wrapped my arms around Sabrina and gave her a long, passionate kiss, quickly breaking away and smiling at her. We turned around, smiles on both of our faces, locking our arms.
''Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Cerulli.'' Everyone cheered as we walked up the aisle. Along the way I picked up Cassidee, smiling and we took a short walk, allowing everyone to get to the reception.
''We're married now!" Sabrina said as we continued to walk.
''I know.'' I smiled, kissing her cheek
''I can't think of a better person to share forever with.'' Sabrina smiled at me.
*****************************************
''Please clear the dance floor for the bride and groom's first dance.'' The DJ said. Sabrina and I stood up and walked over to the dance floor as our song started to play. Our song of choice was It's Your Love by Tim Mcgraw & Faith Hill.
The song ended and everyone clapped for us. I leaned down and kissed Sabrina, holding her close to me.
A few minutes later Sabrina went back up to the dance floor to dance with her dad. While they were doing that I picked up Cassidee and started to dance with her
''Daddy!'' She giggled, putting her hands on my face.
''What? It's the father-daughter dance and I want to practice when it's your turn. But not for a long, long time, okay?"
''Okay.'' She smiled, kissing my cheek.
We cut the cake and fed it to each other, smashing it into each other's faces. I laughed, grabbing a napkin and wiped the cake from Sabrina's face. We passed out the cake and then continued to spend the evening with our friends and family.
Awwe! They're married now!!
