Ricky's POV
I couldn't believe Jessica was standing right there in front of me! What in the hell was she doing here three years after we called it quits?
''I'm going to let you two talk,'' Chris said, walking back into the living room with Balz.
Jessica was standing there, one of the twins was clinging to her right leg, while the other stood there staring at me.
''W-what are you doing here? Now since we've been broken up?" I asked.
''I needed to come back so that the boys could meet their dad.'' She replied, looking down at them.
''Are-are you saying-?"
''These are your twin sons, Ricky. Milo and Braxton.'' My eyes nearly fell out of my skull and my breathing stopped for a quick second.
''I'm a fa-father?!'' I looked down at the two boys and noticed that they did resemble me, especially the piercing blue eyes.
''Yes.''
''Could you please take them into another room? For what I'm about to say shouldn't be said around them.'' Jessica nodded and walked the boys into the living room, where they started playing with Cassidee.
''Okay, let's talk.''
''How could you do that!? Break up with me and not tell me you were carrying my kids! Chris just went through the same shit with his daughter, now I have to go through it too?! What did I ever do to you that you kept them away from me?"
''I didn't know until two weeks after we split! I was scared to tell you and I didn't know how you'd react, plus you toured a lot with the band.''
''So! That didn't mean you had any right to keep them a secret from me! If you would've just told me then we wouldn't be in this situation and the kids would've had a dad around! That was a real fucking bitch of a move to do!"
''Ricky.'' She sighed, closing her eyes. ''I just told you how it happened. Two weeks after we broke up, I found out and I was going to tell you, but I didn't. Yes, I know it was wrong for me to do, but the fear of how your reaction would be scared me even more."
''I'm sorry for saying that. So-so they are mine?" I asked as a small smile crept on my face.
"Yes! I haven't been with anyone else since we broke up. I was miserable and pregnant at the same time and then once I had them I had to work and take care of two babies.''
''Does your family know about them?''
''Yes. My parents helped out and my mom babysat once I went back to work. Believe me, I'm kicking myself in the ass for doing this to you and them! I'm sorry.''
''I am too, but this doesn't mean we're in a relationship again.'' Jessica bit down on her lip and nodded her head.
''I understand.''
''Can I go and talk to them?"
''Yeah! They already know you're their dad.''
''How do they know if-''
''Milo saw an old picture of us together and asked. I said you've been on tour and since I know you got a break this Christmas you'd be home so.'' I looked into the living room, watching them play.
"Can I-"
''It's okay, go talk to them.''
I walked into the living room and sat on the floor between Cassidee and one of the twins. I couldn't tell who was Milo and who was Braxton. They both had the same dark brown hair and blue eyes, plus Jessica put them in the same outfit. Khaki pants and a black and white sweater vest.
"Wicky, meet my new friends!" Cassidee introduced us.
''Cassie, he's our Daddy!'' One of them smiled at me.
''Are you Braxton or Milo?" I furrowed my eyebrows. He looked over at his brother and smiled at him.
''Milo James Olson, do not pull that stunt! Don't mind him, Milo is the mastermind of pranks and Braxton is a little more on the quiet side.''
''But how do you tell them apart though?" Ghost asked.
''Milo has a small heart-shaped birthmark on his neck and Braxton doesn't.'' They nodded their heads. Braxton smiled and jumped into my lap, wrapping his arms around my neck. Soon Milo joined in and then Cassidee tagged in as well.
This isn't going to be easy, but I know I'll manage. I was put in the same boat as Chris, but I'm going take care of these boys and love them unconditionally no matter what.
