Another weekend came, wala akong ginawa kung hindi manatili lamang sa mansyon dahil wala naman akong magawa. I've been swimming in our pool to ease my boredom at dahil narin sa init ng panahon dahil malapit na ang summer.

 Nandito ako ngayon sa aking kwarto, nakadapa sa aking kama habang nagsusulat ng assignment na kailangan na bukas.

Ngumuso ako at napatingin sa labas, hindi ko alam kung ano na ang gagawin ko. Kung hindi man ako nags-swimming, nandito lang ako sa kwarto ko, manonood ng movies o hindi kaya ay magdrawing para lamang may pagkaabalahan.

Umalis sina Mommy at hindi ko alam kung saan nagpunta. Pati narin ang aking mga kapatid kaya ako lamang ang nandito ngayon. Nang matapos ko ang aking ginagawa, kinuha ko ang aking cellphone at tumingin na muna sa aking social media.

Ang tagal ko nang hindi nagu-update dito dahil narin abala ako masyado sa school at hindi din naman importante sa akin ang social media. I'm living in the province, away from the polluted cities. 

Mas gusto ko lumabas kaysa ituon ang aking atensyon sa social media. It is toxic, and that is one of the many reasons why I don't use it. But now, since I'm bored, might as well check it.

A lot of notifications popped in my screen the moment I opened my social media. My eyebrows raised seeing a lot of friend requests, some of them were my schoolmates in school at kilala ko naman ang mga mukha nila kaya I accepted them, but most of the friend requests were unknown to me. Hindi ko sila kilala kaya I cancelled them.

I scrolled on my news feed but stopped when I saw my Ate's latest post. 'Happy monthsary to you, my love.' was the caption of the photo and she just posted a few minutes ago. My lips curled in amazement seeing a picture of her with her boyfriend.

Ate sweetly smiled at the camera while her handsome boyfriend was just looking at her with a small smile plastered on his lips, wearing his black sunglasses that made him more handsome as ever.

Behind them was a beautiful scenery of nature and I could tell they were somehwere cold based on their clothes. I smiled widely at the beautiful photo. The post garnered over a thousand likes and 500 comments. I tapped on my phone screen with a genuine smile on my face. 

I reacted heart on her post and commented, 'You both look so lovely, Ate.'

Wala pa mang ilang segundo bago ako nag-comment ay nakatanggap na agad ako ng tawag mula sa kanya. Agad ko naman iyong tinanggap at nag-face time. Sumandal ako sa aking headboard at kumaway sa kanya na ikinangiti niya. It looks like she was seated in the passenger seat of the car while it was moving.

"Hi, Ate!" I greeted enthusiastically. "Hey, baby. How are you? I'm sorry, I wasn't able to check up on you these past few days." I waved my hand dismissively and shook my head. 

"It's nothing, Ate, I understand. I know College life is very busy, someday mararanasan ko din iyan Ate." Matamis na ngumiti si Ate sa akin na tila hindi siya makapaniwalang sinabi ko iyon.
