𝐈&𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄, 𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐧

ep. 1-2 | intro to i-land

a few moments after her performance ended and her earning a place in I-Land, she sat and waited for the remaining performances. there were only 3 spots left on the screen now, meaning she had to be even harsher with her votes.

by the time everyone had performed, she ended up only raising her hand for 9 of the boys — Jay, SungHoon, HeeSeung, Ni-Ki, Jake, K, Jungwon, Sunoo, and TaKi. no one really caught my eye besides these...

now, the spots were filled and a -4 showed on the screen. great.

eventually the time came for the 17 contestants to go through the rotating structure and into I-Land, while the others who didn't receive enough votes were sent to an unfamiliar place.

after waiting a bit, the rest of the admitted contestants made their way onto the egg. at this point, the young girl felt more nervous than she had before. maybe they'll see something wrong with me and all decide they don't wanna compete against a 16 year old girl?

the sliding doors opened, NaRi unable to contain her excitement, no matter how hard she tried. the cameras did in fact catch this moment, showing the girl's eyes grow and shine with pure joy— a moment that caught the viewers by surprise and made them start to fall in love with her.

"waaa look at her face!! she let her guard down!!" exclaimed the producers upon seeing her demeanor change.

it was safe to say, they were all starting to become whipped for NaRi as well.

after all of the contestants stepped out of the giant egg, they put their bags near chairs and walked around the lobby.

"woah!"
"what in the world?"
"what's happening?!"

out of nowhere, the robotic voice returned and explained what they'd now be doing. NaRi's head was once again filling with negative thoughts and her anxiety began shooting through the roof. she decided to play nice with the boys and try to at least barely inch into their good sides — it isn't that bad of an idea, right?

at the very end of the first episode, you can see the Ni-Ki and Ta-Ki interaction in the kitchen. a few could spot the young girl in the pantry, looking for something to eat, and later walking out to go find something else to do.

when she walked through the kitchen, there were the two boys; both around her age, she assumed. she couldn't remember.

the contestant who's redeem yourself performance was a million times better than his entry test— in her opinion, of course, and another one who's entry test caught her eye.

not the group as a whole, but specifically the one in the cute pink shirt & who performed one of her favorite groups song, Jopping.

during said trios performance, she was sitting closest to the other BigHit boys; HeeSeung, Jay, & SungHoon, and just so happened to catch Jay's comment, the guy in the center is so good, he really stands out. the young girl completely agreed.

something about the guy in the center really stood out to her.

was it his dancing style that just so happened to be similar to hers? was it the brighter colored shirt he had on compared to the other two in his group? was it the cute mole on his chin that happened to catch her attention when she first saw him?

no one knew. just her. and she planned to keep it that way for a long time.

when she walked past the eating duo, she happened to walk by at the time Ta-Ki said i wanna start practicing right away and broke out into dance. in her mind, Nari was dying of laughter. he's very excited about this, i can tell. she found it utterly adorable — again, not for anyone to possibly ever know.

with that, you can just barely catch NaRi walking out of the room, and the first episode officially came to an end.
