"what do you mean she hasn't woken up yet?"
"i mean.. they've run multiple tests on her and she has brain activity, but she's just not.. using it? it's kind of hard to explain,"

HeeSeung could hear the hushed cries coming from the background.

two days.

two days of the two older boys staring at the girl, hoping— praying she'd wake.

two days of everyone else blowing up their phones, begging to know an update on their favourite girl.

BangPD had come the day of her admission, after she'd been given a room. because of the COVID restrictions, there were only two visitors allowed in the room at a time.

while Bang stepped outside with the two artists, their manager stayed inside with NaRi.

"so, does someone care to explain why NaRi is in the hospital?" he emphasized, stress evident in his words.

the two looked at eachother, HeeSeung sighing before explaining, "she.. there was a tweet. by the same girl that's been hating on her for years. NaRi saw it and it hurt her so, so much.. we were confused and i.."

"you..?"

"i yelled at her." he admitted guiltily. "but the members helped me realize how idiotic i was being, i tried apologizing but i didn't see she didn't want to be touched.. so she ran out,"

"she ran-"

"to me, sir. she came to the dorm cause she knew i'd be there. she stayed with me for a few hours. i was eventually able to convince her to go back and talk to the boys, and while we were talking.. she passed out,"

"did you-"

"of course, sir. i tried it for nearly twelve minutes. i asked what she'd eaten earlier that day but.. none of the boys remembered, so we called their manager and came here,"

Bang looked at the two, knowing they'd told him the truth. he looked down, rubbing the bridge of his nose as he thought. "do you remember what the tweet said?"

HeeSeung nodded, "yes, sir.. i took a picture of it," he replied, taking his phone out of his pocket. he pulled up the screenshot, Bang's eyes widening as he read the tweet.

"no wonder she was so upset, she's never talked about her father.." he trailed off, eyes becoming the slightest bit blurred for a split second. he shook off his own sullen feelings, mind returning to focus on NaRi.

"we have to do something about that girl. she's never stopped her hatred towards NaRi. i sometimes regret allowing her to have that secret page of hers," he bitterly chuckled, the boys following.

"that's what i talked to her about. i said we need to put an end to her account once and for all, but she's never wanted to. she's always said she'd feel bad, even though it's the thing that's ruining her,"

Bang nodded, agreeing with YeonJun's words. "i've had an email ready to send and an announcement ready to post since the group's debut. i had a gut feeling the girl would make her hate extreme once NaRi was in the public eye,"
