hypnosis

it'd started as a complete joke.

Jake buzzed the girl's studio doorbell, NaRi's eyes smiling as they saw seven of her favourite boys. she clicked the small button, letting them in.

the boys were quick to pile inside, making themselves feel at home as they took up every sitting area available. she looked up from her dimmed screen a minute later, softly chuckling at the sight in front of her. "are y'all here for a group nap? again?"

"no... we already did that this week,"

"when?!" she fully turned around in her spinny chair, looking at Jay with widened eyes.

"yesterday. you were away at WakeOne."

NaRi's mouth dropped in surprise, looking at the others, hoping they'd burst into laughter.

they didn't.

"wow."

"that's really not what we're here for, though,"

the girl turned back to face her screen, however took her headphones off her ears to let them know she was listening.

"so..." the eldest began, the others knowing she'd give in easier if it were him speaking. "y'know those hypnotists that help you see your past life?"

"yeah! i've watched a lot of those videos,"

"...you wanna go and do it?"

the girl's typing abruptly halted, taking a moment to blink before she, once again, turned around to look at her members. "y'all are serious?" she said after moments of pure silence, the boys simultaneously nodding in response.

her hands finally rested on her lap, glancing at the floor for a split second. "is anyone else gonna do it?"

and that's where they found themselves now. the group's schedule had been jam-packed with group practices and NaRi's studio sessions in various entertainment companies — today being one of their two free days of the week.

Ni-Ki held a camera, holding it in front of the girl. "how are you feeling today, miss Kim?"

she looked at the lens, showing a small eye smile. "i'm excited. i'm hoping i was rich."

they'd all agreed on filming their experience, knowing (hoping) it'd be an entertaining video for their ENGENE to watch.

their manager finally pulled into the parking lot, stepping out to let the members out once he'd turned off the vehicle. the other van was close behind, the remaining boys meeting their members once they were ready to go in.

"appointment under the name Kim, two people,"

the members let their managers do the talking for them, the girl's eyes roaming around the nicely decorated reception area in awe.

"NaRi," the older male's voice knocked her out of her thoughts, taking the clipboard from his hands.

she clicked the pen immediately, beginning to fill out the paperwork as JungWon did the same.

a few minutes of NaRi's leg shaking passed by before JungWon's name was called, the older man she'd seen and heard of countless times before showing only his face as he peeked from the door, eyes squinting in seeming delight as the young leader stood and began walking with him. the remaining members + their managers were brought to a seperate room, the process not beginning until all cameras had been set up.

NaRi watched the entire process with focused eyes, only taking them off the Yang boy when another member had said something absolutely hilarious.

"miss NaRi?" was called into the room the same man allowing the smiling leader inside before looking at his next patient. the girl took a deep breath smiling at the members and managers before following the male to his office. prior to watching JungWon's whole.. process, NaRi's feelings about going through hypnosis were completely light-hearted.
