it's no secret NaRi's the only female member.

...duh.

along with entering early womanhood, she has her period.

(another duh moment.)

have you ever wondered what ENHYPEN are like when their babygirl goes through her time of the month?

the first time

NaRi's cycle has gotten into the routine of coming at the beginning of every month, unfortunately.

because of her malnutrition and (slight) dehydration throughout the entirety of I-Land, the boys never really got to experience one of NaRi's periods— until now.

it was nearing the beginning of october, the girl having gotten a small breakout on the side of her face a few days earlier.

"why does it make me look so ugly?" she mumbled as she stared at herself in the mirror, a frustrated groan leaving her lips. "why are you calling yourself ugly, Kim? you know that's not at all true." Jake called out from behind, walking into the bathroom as well. he slowly snaked his arms around her waist, leaning his chin onto her back.

she groaned, her body already beginning to cramp all over— another sign of her period. "you're telling me this doesn't make my looks go down by a lot?" she emphasized, signaling towards her cheek. Jake looked up from her shoulder, leaning forward slightly to take a closer look. "no, i don't see anything wrong? still beautiful as ever."

the girl looked into his eyes, rolling her own afterwards. "you're such a bad liar."

that's how it was for the two days her breakout was visible— NaRi convinced she looked a million times uglier because of the acne and the boys trying to cheer her up, always failing.

finally, it arrived.

she'd gone to sleep with Jake, seeing as she'd already slept in HeeSeung's bed the past week. just to be sure, she placed a folded towel under her lower body, adding extra barriers— even though she'd worn sweats to bed.

the girl slightly jumped out of her sleeping state, immense pain shooting through her lower abdomen. well fuck. she looked beneath her, a small spot of blood had leaked onto the towel beneath her. "you've got to be joking." she mumbled out, a burst of agitation bubbling up inside her. what's going on with me?

Jake'd heard the quiet movement that came from the room, a small smile on his face as he walked into the room. "you up yet?" however his happy face dropped to a concerned and panicked one upon seeing NaRi's small hands clenched into fists, her eyes filling with tears. "baby? what's wrong?"

she felt embarrassed because of the leaking. she felt ashamed because of her body (for whatever reason). she felt mad at herself because it was her body that'd leaked. she felt sad because her sweats and towel were now stained. she felt mad because of the pain still shooting through her body. she felt like curling up into a ball and letting every pent up emotion leak out of her eyes— yet she remained still.

seeing as she hadn't moved since he came into the room, Jake carefully walked closer to the girl, hand moving up to massage her scalp. "baby?"

"WHAT DO YOU WANT!" she snapped, a wave of emotions coming over her as her body hunched over in a pitiful, loud sob. "i'm sorry-" she choked out, another sob following.

he crouched down to meet the shaking girl's body, cautiously wrapping his arms around her figure. "shh, its okay. you did nothing wrong."

she cried a bit longer, HeeSeung now walking into the room. he gave a questioning look towards the boy who still ran his fingers through her hair, Jake giving a look saying 'shes on her period'— the elder understanding immediately. "hey, princess. you okay?" he quietly said, not wanting to accidentally be too loud and throw her into another intense state of emotion— seeing as her senses became extremely delicate and sensitive while on her period.

she whimpered, shaking her head.
HeeSeung signaled for Jake to get out of the room, the younger immediately accepting as they all knew HeeSeung knew NaRi like the back of his hand.

HeeSeung carefully sat beside NaRi, his hand bringing hers off of her face and onto her lap. "why are you so angry?" he asked, voice as delicate as ever— as if she was the most fragile being on planet Earth. which to him, she was.

"i just.. got frustrated. and took it out on Yunnie-hyung. and got more frustrated at myself.."
"why'd you get frustrated in the first place?"
she suddenly became self-aware, a sense of shyness and insecurity washing over her. she stayed quiet.
receiving no answer, he used his index fingers to bring her head up to face him, "NaRi, i can't help if you don't talk it out. you know that."
she let out a sigh, avoiding the boy's gaze, "i leaked."

he slightly chuckled, "baby, you know you don't have to hide anything from me. that's okay. you know i'll help. it's not your fault."
"but it is my fault! it's my body and i couldn't stop it!"
"NaRi. you're not to blame for this."
the girl was suddenly on the brink of crying once more, "but still."
"there's no buts, baby. okay?"
she hesitantly nodded, a small pout forming on her lips.

the boy brought her into his embrace, his arms just barely wrapping around her figure.
"would you like a bath?"
she, yet again, hesitantly nodded.
"okay. i'll go while you clean the bed," he said, standing up after placing a kiss on her forehead.

as NaRi cleaned the bed, HeeSeung walked into the bathroom, turning the warm water on in the bathtub. she soon walked in, still feeling embarrassed.
"why are you all awkward? it's as if one of the other boys are doing this. we've done this plenty of times, NaRi. no need to be embarrassed." HeeSeung chuckled out, reassuring the girl.
"i know it's just... i don't know."

"okay, you can go in now." he turned around, letting the girl get in the bath.
he carefully took her stained clothing out of the bathroom, throwing them in the washing machine. knowing she liked staying in the water for a while, he asked Jay to make her breakfast, seeing as she actually ate while on her period.

she'd eventually come out of the bathroom, all of the boys' noise levels having gone down since HeeSeung had told them of her sensitivity levels throughout this time.

throughout the five days of her cycle, the boys were incredibly careful around the girl— seeing as they hadn't wanted to somehow make her upset, and since it was six of the boys' first time being around for NaRi's period.

— cuddles. lots of them.
— sometimes calling yeonjun because she
"gets bored of the boys"
— NaRi's eyes watering and the boys slapping
eachother incase they all made her mad
— bangpd coming to the dorm to comfort her ?????
don't ask.
— NaRi threatening to run away to another
group's dorm, the boys locking her in the bathroom.
— a lot more kisses. and there's already a lot.
— NaRi escaping to wherever bangtan's at, going mia for hours
— locking herself in someone's studio... RM.. yoongi.. jhope... woozi ... hongjoong .. bangchan ... pdogg.. you name it.
— having a hard time understanding her since she switches languages way more than normal
