Summary: The time for college has come. It's happened twice now. Why doesn't it get any easier?

Daniel's POV
" So," Corbyn sighed, nuzzling a little closer," this is really our last night together?"

I pulled him closer, reaching up to brush away some of the blonde hair on his face.

" Of course not," I promised, tracing his cheek," me and Jonah aren't leaving you guys. We're just going to college."

" Sure feels like the same thing," Jack muttered, glaring away from us, hugging at himself.

I sighed, deciding to let Jonah handle him.

Zach was there too, kinda hanging around the edge looking uncomfortable and out of place.

It made sense though. Sure the 15 year old had known us all his life, but not in the way we had begun to know each other.

He had only had a few months after all. He wasn't there for all the heartache when this started.

" Don't be like that," I heard Jonah whisper, pressing his nose against Jack's jaw.

The younger still wouldn't look at him, lip hanging stubbornly, hugging himself tighter.

" Do...", Corbyn started, trailing as he began drawing shapes against my abs.

I looked down at him, finding a sad, sweet smile on his face.

But that was what this was, wasn't it? Bittersweet.

We were growing up, moving on.

Letting go.

" Do you guys remember when Daniel and Jonah snuck into the backroom during gym just so we could get the scooters first?"

I laughed, not able to help it," we got in so much trouble for that."

Jonah nodded, smiling a little, still cradling a pouting Jack," my Dad was pissed. Said I got in all that trouble just for a few scooters."

" It was important!" Corbyn and I argued together. Falling into a fit of giggles from it.

" Only the best for our boys. Right, Joan?" I grinned at him, the younger nodding eagerly.

" Absolutely," he tugged Jack closer, relaxing more against the headboard," oh! Or that one time we tried to get Corbs to make acid for us in science."

" I kept telling you guys that wasn't how it worked, but you never listened!" The blonde giggled. His laugh warm against my skin.

" We just wanted to pour a little on Mrs. Scott's desk and burn a hole through it. Was that really so much to ask for?"

" Yes!" Corbyn insisted, hitting me softly on my pec," they don't keep acid that strong for middle schoolers!"

Jonah was laughing hard at this point, full, deep rumbles from the lower part of his body. He was shaking with it. He looked so at ease.

He was always so handsome when he was this peaceful. Jack even had a little smile on his face.

" Jay, do you remember when we tried to do those kick-flips to impress Jo and Dan?" Corbyn beamed, big and bright and beautiful.
