Chapter 50

I walk down the halls with the other vixens in our cheer uniform, we're getting ready for the pep rally coming up
"Looking good, wanna go out sometime" Sweet Pea says joining my side
"Sorry I'm taken, engaged actually" I show my ring
"Oh damn do I know this lucky fella?"
"Hmmm maybe, he's really tall, very handsome and has a Serpent tattoo on his neck" we stop walking and I wrap my arms around Peas neck tracing the outline of his tattoo
"That's funny because I happen to have this hot ass fiancé who is also a Serpent and a Vixen. She's got a Serpent tattoo right here" Pea lightly taps the tattoo on my thigh
"Huh. What a coincidence" I go on my tip toes and just before Pea and I kiss we hear a ear splitting scream. We look over to see Cheryl next to Toni while the other vixens are on the floor having seizures
"Don't touch them" I yell running over to them "move out of the way, Sweet Pea, Cheryl make sure once they stop having the seizures put them in the recovery position"

"What the hell happened Jones?" Jagger asks walking meeting Pea and I as we get off Peas bike
"I don't know, Cheryl and I were the only Vixens not effected"
"Where's Toni? How is she?"
"She's at Cheryls. She's fine, but what I want to know is why Cheryl and I were the only 2 vixens not effected. Everyone thinks it's an illness and might be be contagious but why would everyone have the same symptom at the exact same time"
"You don't?"
"Well no obviously not. I don't know what it might have been but I guess with Jug and Betty gone I'll have to figure this one out" I sit on the chair that's meant for whoever is in charge, Sweet Pea rubs my shoulders as I rub my face "things are really not good"
"Ella, Pea" Fangs runs over to us out of breath "Joaquin was part of a new gang called the gargoyles. Apparently they're dealing a new drug fizzle rocks"
"Who created this new drug?"
"I don't know I'm sorry"
"Don't be sorry you found out what you could" I stand up "Pea can you get their attention" Sweet Pea Whistles "alright listen up. There's a new drug in town. Fizzle rocks. I don't want any one you touching them that includes dealing them we are not going to end up like the Ghoulies or this new Gargoyle gang. If I find any of my Serpents are taking them or dealing them we will be having serious words do I make myself clear" there's a chorus of yes'. I sit back down on my chair
"What do we do?" Jagger asks
"Nothing, at least not now. We aren't in any trouble as long as no one starts dealing or taking them"

Veronica, Sweet Pea, Reggie and I are sat in La Bonne Nuit
"Fangs heard about the new gang, the Gargoyles. Apparently they are cooking up that new drug, fizzle rocks, my Serpents haven't and will not touch that shit I can promise you"
"I just don't get it. Drugs, Gargoyles , mystery men in hazmat suits and secret school board meetings? How does it all tie together?" Veronica says
"Wait what? Hazmat suits?" I lean on the table
"Where were you two today?" Reggie smirks, I roll my eyes
"We were at the hospital with Ad now what happened?"
"Some men came in and took, as principal weatherbee put it, the infected" I shake my head
"This makes no sense" I mutter under my breath leaning back
"Tell me about it" Veronica folds her arms
"According to our sources aka Fangs, the fizzle rocks distributors, the gargoyles, are giving their product out for free" Reggie states
"I've seen enough episodes of Narcos to know this scheme"
"Well while you've only seen it on TV we saw it at Southside high" Pea says
"It's like they're testing the water and once you've got them hooked on the first taste. They will be customers for life" I say
"Fizzle rocks are coming from the Southside right out of the prison that your dad is building" Reggie says
"For once we won't get the blame" I slightly laugh
"Oh no daddy will do everything to put the blame on you guys, but don't worry the Serpents won't be alone this time" I nod my head at Veronica
"Thank you" I smile as I get up "I'll see you tomorrow Veronica during my shift"
"Of course, see you tomorrow" I take Sweet Peas hand and walk out
"Want something to eat while we're here?" I shake my head
"No let's go home, there's a pizza in the freezer we can have that and watch some films"
"Ok Princess" Pea kisses the top of my head and we walk out of pops.
