Chapter 9

      Lorenzo’s Pov

“What are you doing here?” I said when I saw this punk entering my office without knocking the door.

“Anong klaseng tanong naman yan Lorenz” sagot niya habang umiiling-iling pa bago umupo sa sofa na malapit sa harap ng table ko

“What do you need now Mr. Winston? ” I said habang ang tingin ko ay nasa papers na hawak ko

“Nothing, I’m just checking on you” tatawa-tawa niyang sabi and now I decided to look at him giving him a questioning look

“Easy,you know kakabalik molang dito sa Philippines kaya naman gusto kong malaman kung anong pinagkakaabalaan mo”

“So are you expecting something from me?”

“Well…I’m expecting that you have a new girlfriend,  but it looks like you don’t have one until now”

“Tsk, don’t expect nor assume ”  I look back on the papers then suddenly memories came up on my mind

“Yes…Yes!” A smile form on my lips when I heard her answer she said yes because I ask her to be my girlfriend.I feel so happy there, its my first time so I really made an effort just to make sure she would like it.I want her to give a romantic day that she won’t forget.

The first time I’ve met her is in our University.She’s the most beautiful and famous girl in our University.
While I’m the most handsome and famous in our University, many girls like me and she’s one of those girls.My friends dare me to court Trina.Yes her name is  “Trina Marie Perez”.But suddenly Trina confessed on me so I decided to accept the dare.We’re always with each other,hanging out and going anywhere she wants.

We’ve been develop.I did not regret that I accept the dare of my friends because I found a love.A love that only Trina can give.

I’m so happy because I’ve met her.And I’m happy because I know that she loves me.

But one day everything’s gone. “I’m breaking up with you now” napa angat agad ang tingin ko kay Trina nung matapos kong marinig ang sinabi niya,iniisip kona nagbibro ito pero hindi ko parin gusto ang sinabi niya

“Stop it Trina,you can’t fool me again” sinabi ko sakanya yon na bahagyang natatawa pinapakitang hindi na niya ko maloloko dahil alam kong nagbibiro na naman siya kagaya nung una at pangalawa na sinabi niya saken yun pero binawi niya din dahil nagbibiro lang daw siya at gusto niyang mapansin kolang siya kaya niya sinabi yon

“No…I’m pretty serious now,Lorenzo” tumingin ulit ako sakanya at sinalubong naman din niya ang mga tingin ko.I look at her at pinakikiramdaman kung tatawa siya o hindi.But she only have a blank face, you can’t see any emotion at her.But I still believe that she’s till joking and wants me to believe at her.I can’t take this anymore kaya lumapit ako sakanya to hug her

“Okay,Let’s stop it Trina” pagkasabi ko niyon ay kumalas siya sa pagkakayakap sakin and look at me with the kind of disbelief draw in her face

“Really?” parang hindi makapaniwala sabi niya, I look at her and confused.

“Let’s stop fooling each other.I don’t like it.I’m here now beside you so stop saying that.I love –“

“No!Did you not here me?I’m serious Lorenzo.Maghiwalay na tayo, so Let’s stop this” hindi kona natuloy ang sinabi ko nung pinutol niya iyon at itinulak ako, napatingin nalang ako kay Trina.She’s different.She’s not the Trina I know.At unti unti na nga kong naniwala sa sinabi niya.This time I feel the pain.
