"Chase? You home?" I called into my boyfriend Chase's apartment unlocking the door with the key he'd given me. We had made plans to meet here and just make dinner and watch movies this Friday night. Looking around and seeing the apartment empty I came to the conclusion I was here first. So I put my shoes by the door and hung my coat on the rack and made my way to the kitchen, deciding I would make dinner. I connected my phone to the bluetooth speaker Chase keeps in his kitchen and chose my favorite playlist. Gathering what I needed I got to work. 3/4s of a playlist and meal assembly later: I was chopping veggies and adding them to a bowl of lettuce to make salad when one of my favorite songs that always makes me think of Chase came on; Doctor, Doctor by R5. I started singing along and dancing around the kitchen. I was so into the song that I didnt here Chase come home and into the kitchen. "I've just come to realize the fire in your eyes for me, And baby all these little sparks ignite until I just can't breathe, And time and time and time and time and time again I'm lying in the dark, and wondering where you are, I'm tryna, tryna, tryna find the medicine, Straight into my heart, it's tearing me apart, I'm screaming, doctor, doctor, Bottle it up, I'm a believer, believe me, This love is a drug, I'm dying, I can't get enough, I'm screaming, "doctor, doctor" Bottle it up-" I did a spin and saw Chase standing there with a loving smirk on his face. I waltzed over to him still singing and dancing. " Im dying and can't get enough- doctor doctor your love is a drug- doctor doctor bottle it up!" I finished the song by falling dramatically into Chase's arms, I giggled "Well hello there doctor." I snorted. Chase let out a chuckle as a wide grin spread across his face, he tightened his arms around me bringing me closer and pressing a kiss to my forehead. "Well this was quite a way to come home dinner and a show, I love it." He informed as i nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck. " Good I'm glad, now let's eat then its your turn to pick the movie tonight." I reminded. "Only if I get to cuddle you." He countered looking down at me with an adoring look on his face. "Deal" I bopped his nose and he led me to the table where we dug in.
