The days are going by fast now. I don't have time to stop and think about my mom or my dad. Mckenna and her boyfriend are doing well and so is Lilly and her boyfriend. I get to see Tyler a lot. He says he is happy for me making the team.
The dance team had their first meeting/practice last week. We went into the cafeteria and moved all of the tables. We sat on the floor and listen to the coach speak. I don't know any girls on the team and they all give me dirty looks. Later we did a few dances. We have choreographed part of our first dance already.
Aunt Mia is now 4 months pregnant and is expecting a girl at the end of February towards the beginning of March. She is really excited about it.
School is boring as usual. Do I need to go in depth? I want to be a photographer when I grow up anyways.

Nala barks way too loud. She is a real pain in the mornings. This time she wakes me up with a big lick on my face.
"Gross. Nala?!" I complain.
I get up and get ready anyways. I wear my dance team jacket and sweatpants because we are supposed to wear them today. I run downstairs in time to eat and head out the door.
The sun shines bright in my face and the birds sing. What a great day.
But I was wrong.

It all started during first block. I ask to go to the bathroom. I get there and walk in to my dance team at the mirror. They don't notice me and I go on my way. On my way out though they do. One girl, I think her name is Sam, puts a hand on my shoulder and stops me from leaving.
"Where do you think your going?" She asks.
"My class?" I say.
"I wanted to tell you that you can't just walk on over to this school and take over. Especially not the team. It's mine not yours. Am I clear?"
You could hear a pen drop in that bathroom. But instead you hear my gulp.
"If you don't quit the team next time won't be a warning." She says as she walks out the door.
I stay trembling for the rest of class.
Next is at lunch. All my friends are sitting at one table. I walk over and see my seat taken. By none other than Sam. They don't notice me so I turn on my heel and eat by myself. I can hear footsteps coming towards me. Tyler sits next to me.
"Autumn?"
"Yeah?" I asked I look up at him.
"Why aren't you sitting with your friends?"
I point to where Sam is siting.
"Oh. "
Lastly was at practice that night. I got there and had to move the tables. Once done with that coach called me over.
"Do you know why I called you over here?"
"No mam."
"You are one of our most promising dancers on the team. We will be having a cheerleading stunt in our dance and I want you at the top. You would be the best. I need to know when you are getting your cast off. And are you up for the job of top flyer?"
A mix of emotions hit me all at once. Happiness for being the best, scared of falling, and strange courage that leads me to say,"next week. And yes I will be up for it."
Later I was walking home with dark clouds over my head and no birds out singing. I realized my mistake when it started to rain.
