A journey to change Autumn

I walk inside the house and try to sneak past my cousins. It is 4:30 so they should be back from school. I successfully get to the second floor without getting caught. Then as I look around the corner to go up the steps I trip over something and fall on my bad arm which only makes it worse. I scream out in pain as Eli runs up to help me from the floor. He picks me up and takes me to my room. He sets me down on my bed then leaves. What a great help he is. I think to myself. Then I hear a knock on my door and see Emma and Mckenna come into my room followed by Eli. "Autumn?" My 16-year old cousin Emma asks. Emma and Mckenna are twins and Eli is 17. "What do you want?" I ask. "We want to talk to you. " Mckenna states. I try my best to ignore them. " Please Autumn. " Eli says. I continue to ignore them hoping they would go away. They don't go away instead the come and sit on the bed with me. I bury my face in my pillow hurting my nose, but I don't care. Then Luke knocks on my door, comes in, then shuts again. He comes up to me and puts his warm hand on my back. When he does this I can't keep it in any longer. I cry and cry for what seems like hours. At some point Luke sat down and pulled me into his embrace. I let it all out. The anger for Mack, the longing for my brother and my mom, and all of the stress it has brought me. We all ended up in a group hug until I said,"ow. My arm." "Sorry" they all say and let go of me." will you talk to us now?" Emma asks. "Sure" I say finally ready to tell the whole truth. "It all started when one day Mack decided to make my life miserable. She beat me almost everyday, but I shut myself out and never told anyone. I ended up losing my friends. Then on Monday she punched me in the nose. I thought she had broken it because I heard it snap and I couldn't smell anymore. Then on Tuesday ,which was yesterday, her and her gang ambushed me. They punched me in the temple, arm, and nose. They also kneed me in the arm and stomach. When we went to the doctor today they said I had a broken nose and chipped part of my arm of and that I would need surgery tomorrow." When I finish they all look at me shocked then give me another hug , but this time they are careful not to hurt my arm. I love my family so much. After about an hour we leave to go eat supper. We all sit down and eat. "Guys" aunt Mia says. "Yes" we all say "there is something I need to tell you. " "Go ahead" Luke says. "I am pregnant."
