After about ten minutes in a warm hug from Luke and Tyler I start coughing. I don't know why but I do. It's not as bad as my laugh attack earlier today. But it still hurts. Tyler jumps off first then Luke. This gets the doctors attention after he was sitting there awkwardly for ten minutes. He stand up and calls some nurses into my room. They hear and see my uncontrollable cough. One runs out while the other comes to my breathing machine with the doctor by my nightstand. Tyler and Luke just watch in horror. But it's not the first time this has happened but definitely the worst. The doctor tells something to the nurse while the other one comes back in with something for my IV. She attaches that to all of the other ones connected to my arm. The doctor and other nurse hit buttons on my breathing machine. The cough starts to get a little bit better while the doctor talks to Tyler and Luke. Luke keeps looking back at me with sympathy. the doctor talks in a mumbled voice.
"What?" I ask but no one seems to hear me.
"What?!" I ask again but with more force. Luke looks back at me one last time. I can see the growing horror on his face right before I slip back into the beautiful, powerful darkness.

Tyler's POV
Luke and I give her a well deserved hug after all she has been through. But after a while she starts coughing. Because of either being bullied or her fall one of her ribs almost punctured her left lung. This now causes her to constantly be on a breathing machine while she is in the hospital and she coughs a lot. It is hard to see her because you know you can't help her but you want to. You want to do anything you can to take it away from her. She is a true fighter thanks to her doctor. Which is why when she coughs this time we get off of her and let the doctor handle it.

He stands up then calls two nurses in on the button you push to bring in a nurse. Once they come in they automatically see Autumn's condition. She has had some pretty bad coughs but never this bad. The blonde runs out while the shorter one goes with the doctor to Autumn's breathing machine. They talk for a minute until the other one comes back in with an IV for Autumn. She attaches that while the other two hit buttons on her machine. Her uncontrollable cough seems to start to fade and almost completely leave. The nurses continue what they are doing while the doctor comes over and talks to us.
"Autumn's cough is getting worse. We are putting her under so we can do an inspection of her lungs. We think it is just because she almost punctured her lung but we just want to make sure it isn't anything else." The doctor continuer to talk about MRIs and other official things that I won't ever understand. I look over and see Luke watching Autumn. You can see the special bond just in his eyes and on his face. Then the doctor pauses to make sure we are still listening. I am looking at him and hearing but it goes in one ear and out the other.
"We will probably do a short procedure tonight and wake her back up tomorrow. It won't take long and it won't be surgery." the doctor continues. Then I don't know if the doctor heard it but I think I heard a small 'what' coming from Autumn. I sneak a peek around the doctor's shoulder and see Autumn looking at Luke and the doctor when she asks louder this time 'what'. She then loses all conscious.
"NO!" I scream. Yeah I should have listened to the doctor to realize this was supposed to happen but I can't lose her again. If it were up to me she wouldn't sleep so that I can make sure I won't lose her while she is sleeping. I should have just thanked the doctor and sat by her side instead of screaming and scaring Luke. So I walk over to her bed and sit beside her where I should be. Holding her hand where I want to be for the rest of my life. Only if she will hold it back.
