Hehe, I am back from the dead.
×~×~××~×~×Jen's pov:
"What are you doing here?" He asked bewildered.
"Catching the kidnapper" I replied just as shocked. What is he doing here? And why does he have a suit on? Seriously, why does he have to look so good? He pulled me out of the elevator.
"Why are you dealing with him alone?" He said, scowling. This rascal. Why will I ask for his help?
"What did you just call me a rascal?" He asked with wide eyes. Opsie did I say that out loud?
"Yes. Yes, you did" He said annoyed.
"Captain. We don't have time for this. Someone kidnapped Alissa"
"Right. Here are the jeep keys. Go and sit inside it until I come back" He ordered and pressed the down button beside the elevator door. I looked down at the key in my hand. Scoffing I threw it at his back. He turned around with raised brows.
"No, I don't want to. I can take care of myself. Besides, I am coming with you. She is my company's asset"
Captain came to stand near me. He stared into my eyes and I stared back. I have intended not to give in.
Not today! We stared at each other for a long time in a staring battle. He broke away first when the bell chimed for the ground floor.
"Alright"

Captain's pov:
We both got inside. In this enclosed space, I just couldn't help but let my stare wander to her beautiful face.
But what I earned back wasn't exactly a loveable look. It was cold and aloof that put my hard expression to shame. Well, she sure is furious alright. I inhaled lightly, for some strange reason she trembled. Is she cold? I took out my phone and checked the current temperature inside the lift.
Why is she cold at 25 degrees celsius? While I feel like taking my shirt off for some reason. Now that I think about it, I usually feel like that around her. Is that supposed to mean something? Will she still be pissed off if I take my shirt off?
Should I? To think about it, I am not on an official mission anyway. The thought made me smirk. I felt a gaze burning holes in my face. And even though she tried to look away and hide her stunned expression, I still caught her staring.
"What are you smirking about?" She asked in a very cautious tone. Then in a low voice, she added, "I have never seen you smirk like that"
"None of your business" I replied, playing it cool. Like I wasn't just debating in my head to take my shirt off to impress her.
