Jen's pov:
Two light footsteps made their way to us. Captain straightened his back and nudged me behind himself. He is way too long, I tiptoed to look who arrived. A working lady with some cleaning equipment glared at Captain with surprise. She narrowed her eyes at me, I immediately shrunk back behind his broad shoulders.
"I am sorry but the first two floors of this building are reserved. I haven't seen you two here before" She said.
I pinched his shoulder frantically after checking the time in the watch. We have already wasted more than half an hour. Captain flinched and threw me a venomous look behind his shoulder. I pointed at my watch.
"I think you should take you and your girlfriend out of here. Before I call the security"
"NO!" I cried out.
It surprised both of them and they jumped. Captain half-turned to look at me with an anxious face. I shoved him and turned him away again, hiding from the lady.
Damn it! I don't want to do this but I have no other option right now.
The gears in my head turned and I pushed my purse inside my top. And then I did something that alarmed Captain so much that the look on his face was worth recording.
I yelled holding my stomach and fell on the floor, dragging Captain down on the floor with me. He looked at me with huge eyes and horrific expressions. "HONEY!"
"What?!!!" He asked, raising his eyebrows. I whacked him on his arm tightly and winked to make him understand.
"Oh my god! Girl are you ok?" The lady asked, trying to get a better look at me. I pushed Captain in front of me to hide my stomach.
"HONEY! HOSPITAL! BABY!" I screamed. Captain grimaced in surprise when I hit him on the chest.
"Oh my! Let me call the hospital. Hey boy! Why are you staring at your wife like that? Why are you not doing anything? Unbelievable! Are you not worried? Go carry her to the room on the side, I will call someone for help" The lady said. I held my laughter when Captain's surprise turned into irritation and anger.
I hit him again on the arm. He sent a whole lot of knives in my direction with his intense stormy grey eyes. Locking his jaw he picked me up and carried me to the room, while the lady hurried to the elevator, calling someone on the phone.
We entered the room and I giggled in his arms, hiding my face in his chest. I lifted my head to stare at him and the expression of confusion and suffering on his face sent me throwing my head back with laughter. Tears of happiness spill out of my eyes.
And just like that one moment, I was in his arms and the next I was in bed. Reason? Captain Rude dropped me on it lightly. I grabbed the silky sheets I was sprawled upon aghast when he too climbed up on the bed, almost on top of me.
This situation reminded me of something familiar not long and it brought a wave of sadness to my heart.
"Captain?"
"What are you doing exactly?" He asked in a desperate tone.
"You should stop throwing me on the bed if you are not interested in me," I said with a cracked voice.
"I never said that I am not interested in you..." He said and I took a deep breath.
"Stop it! Stop messing with my head!"
"I...I god you are stupid if you think that I am not interested in you. I.. just said that this isn't right. For you" He moved the hairs that had fallen on my eyes. I shivered under his touch as he caressed my cheek.
"You can't decide what is wrong or right for me Captain. It's for me to do" I said with closed eyes.
"I am sorry. I am. I shouldn't have pulled away from you that night. I am sorry" he whispered. There is something wrong with my eyes, why is it leaking water.
I felt a hand brush my tears and a peck soft as a feather on my forehead. "Captain?" I said.
"Yes?"
"I almost forgot. We should head out of here before the ambulance and that lady arrives and gets me" That made him get in action. We both got up quickly and looked outside the gate carefully.
"I hate to say this, but although embarrassing, your idea was good. And since there is no CCTV on this floor, we can easily go up without being followed" He said. We ran to the stairs. At the entrance, two bodyguards stood guarding the floor.
"You wait here. I will bring Alissa to you"
"No. I am coming with you" I said. One of the bodyguards turned and Captain pulled me behind the wall with an arm around my shoulder.
"Why don't you ever listen to me?" He whispered back with furrowed brows.
"Because that's my job. To never agree with you"
During our conversation, we failed to realize that another one of the bodyguards was now standing right in front of us.
Captain blocked his punch that was directed towards his jaw. Then he kicked him in the place where the sun doesn't shine and closed his mouth before he could scream. He rummaged through his jacket pocket around my waist and took out the duct tape. My mouth fell open in shock when he pulled out a duct tape and fastened it around the man's mouth.
"Captain I wasn't aware you were into bondage and stuff" I exclaimed in a whisper.
"Well now you know"
