I roll over, my face hitting an incredibly soft pillow that smells overly of apple and lavender so much so that it makes me sneeze my eyes shooting open as I do.

Sun beams into the room and I hear the noise of three others breathing softly in their sleep. Slowly I sit up on the crowded bed, how we all managed to fit in Suzy-May's double bed I'll never know.

The two guys Yasmine and Suzy-May had been speaking too last night drove us home in their truck, the bikes stashed in the back, at around one in the morning. The second we all reach Suzy-May's room we got changed and crashed not even having enough energy to manage more than a few mumbles to each other before falling asleep.

I dreamt of the beach, swimming, surfing. It was the first of my dreams in a while that had me wishing I could return to sleep instead of escape it.

"Suzy-May" I whisper while jostling her lightly to get her to wake up, My stomach was feeling in desperate need of food and letting her sleep for longer was just not in the cards when my hunger is involved "Suze wake up".

"Hmm?" Her eyelids slowly flutter open next to me but she quickly closes them shut as the harsh glare of sunlight reaches them, pulling the white comforter decorated with embroidered purple flowers up around her neck.

"Wake up" I poke her cheek and she grumbles before squinting one eye open.

"My head hurts" She rubs her forehead and squeezes her eyes shut once again.

I tilt my head realising I feel completely fine. It feels odd to have complete awareness of my surroundings in the morning after a night out. Slipping out of bed I go over to my bag and retrieve my grey hoodie slipping it on over my white tank top. My legs feel a slight chill thanks to the pair of red pyjama shorts I'm wearing so I switch them for the black sweats I was wearing yesterday.

"Come on I'm hungry" My voice causes both Yasmine and Jessie to stir as well as Suzy-May. All three of them release loud groans before rolling over and slamming their faces into pillows.

"You can just go get something from the kitchen downstairs, can you bring me the aspirin too it's in the cabinet next to the fridge"Her words come out muffled as she mumbles into the pillow and I shake my head a small smile on my face as I walk over to the bedroom door.

"Get me some too" Jessie's voice barely comes out as a croak when I place hand on the metal doorknob.

"Me three" Yasmine mutters. Mentally I thank myself for turning down drinks last night and ignoring my subconscious thoughts to search out whoever had something more than just liquor for sale in that place.

"I don't know when I became a slave but alright" I say loudly on purpose with a laugh as I slam the door shut causing them all to whine out.

The cold hardwood floors of Suzy-May's house are harsh against my bare feet so I shove my hands inside my hoodie pocket and walk quicker so I can get back to Suzy's room as fast as possible.

Luckily Suzy-May's bedroom door is just round the corner of kitchen so it doesn't take me too long to reach it. I spot the large black fridge immediately. After collecting the aspirin bottle from the cabinet next to it,I open the fridge and take out three bottles of water.

Spinning round I notice a fruit bowl sitting in the centre of the large black granite island, picking up a banana for myself.

"You're the girl from Ray's shop" A voice says startling me.

My eyes snap to my right and I see a small kid I recognise sitting on a stool at the island. A bowl of cereal in front of him, his cheerios getting soggy from the fact he was probably paying more attention to the iPad on his lap than his food.
